What a beautiful and friendly place. The whole environment is bright, lively, fun and happy. It is truly like a resort.
My parents have been here six weeks and it is like night and day from their other place. It is wonderful, senior living and everyone is so friendly, including the residence and staff - top-notch!

My dad just moved in to the Summit and loves it! Everyone has been so welcoming. Thanks to Tina for her help with getting the perfect apartment for him and to Matthew for helping with the move in process.

Summit is an amazing facility. Tina Whitacre gave us a great tour. The only downsides to this facility is that few units are available and those that are, seemed a bit small. This facility is licensed as a residential care facility, not as a skilled nursing facility. This can impact the use of certain long term care plans

This review is specifically regarding the Memory Care unit at the Summit. We moved my Dad in September. I was quite sure the transition would absolutely not work, given that he is very independent, stubborn, and generally cantankerous! The staff members all assured me that they are well experienced in managing difficult transitions. I left Dad there and sobbed all the way home. To my great surprise, Dad adjusted quickly and well! There's no question that this is due to the compassionate care provided by all of the memory care staff. Every time I visit, I am amazed at the patience and positive attention they provide to every single resident.
Memory care has to be the most challenging area of senior living to work in, but you would never know it by observing the aides and nurses at Summit. I have to specifically shout out nurse manager Patricia and nurses Jayden, Philomena, Robin and Vershaun. All are quick to respond to any concerns, and each has shown great compassion to my father. And the aides are absolutely phenomenal! I have never seen anything but positive energy, smiles and hard work from every aide. I think they must have eyes on the backs of their heads because nothing gets past them! I have learned so much about dealing with dementia patients simply by watching the Memory Care staff work.
Let me sum up simply by saying that The Summit has been a blessing that my family never thought we would have! Dad is content and thriving. And I don't have to drive home in tears anymore. Thank you all!
