  After multiple tries looking for a rehab facility, this place was amazing. The staff was the best I've seen in the buisness of caring for your loved ones. I couldn't be happier with everyone especially the reception staff. From the 1st time walking in, they treated us like family and was very receptive to our needs. Look no more, because this is the place to be if you need care.

  Today marks one year from when my 98 year-old dad passed while staying at Merry Heart Assisted Living for a little over 2 years. Merry Heart let me sleep in my dad's room for two nights as it was evident the end was near. They brought me meals and a basket of snacks (Thank you Kathy from Activities) and checked in on me all throughout the day. Even though the rooms and common areas were always spotless, Margarita told me she gave my dad's bathroom a good deep clean so that I was able to use it. She started work at 4:30 a.m., and since I wasn't sleeping, she would make me a hot latte and would sit and talk with me for a bit to make sure I was o.k. From the front desk, to the amazing aides and to the nurses (Bunnie, Karon, Grace, Cherrie) I can honestly say I am so glad that I chose Merry Heart. My dad didn't like how the barber had cut his hair and I was doing it with little success. Cherrie took it upon herself to cut my dad's hair and he loved it. Nothing feels better when you are sitting alone in your dad's room at night and an aide will walk in and be surprised to see you there and they say, Oh, sorry to bother you, I heard about Alfred and just wanted to stop in and say goodbye. Warmed my heart for sure. It may be a business, but there are A LOT of amazing, caring individuals that work at Merry Heart. I met Marie when my mom was on the rehab side of Merry Heart. What a kind soul. She mainly worked in the rehab section or the third floor, but she still came to check in on me and Dad as well. Their employees go above and beyond! I highly recommend Merry Heart.

  My mother did her rehab after suffering a mini stroke at Merry Heart and did great! She was there for about a month and for the most part was taken care of. I understand a lot of rehab facilities are understaffed and spread thin, but the staff here are caring and attentive as they can be. They were able to get my mom up and walking around, did her wound care, and made her and us feel well taken care of. The food there was alittle lacking, but nothing was terrible. The rooms never felt crowded or dirty and it was very clean. Security is something that they take very seriously there which I appreciated as well. Anita, Kisha, Beverly, Oscar, Ashley, and all of the staff were great to deal with and truly made this otherwise stressful experience much better. I would definitely recommend this rehab facility to anyone looking for a reliable and trust worthy place for your loved ones.

  My 91 year old mother who suffers from advanced dementia was admitted into Merry Heart as a full time resident 2 years ago. The facility has an outstanding reputation and I felt fortunate that she was accepted as a resident as it has improved her quality of life in a positive direction in a life saving and profound way. The facility utilizes a multimodal approach to assure the utmost level of tailored professional care for its residents. This includes outstanding medical and skilled nursing care; PT/OT; medication management; and excellent activities therapy along with entertainment for all residents. The facility is spotless. The staff are caring, kind, competent outstanding professionals who maintain regular contact with family members and include family on all clinical decisions involving their loved ones. As a medical professional I highly recommend this outstanding facility without any reservations!
