Here’s a Honestly, this YMCA has gone downhill badly. The bathrooms constantly smell like piss and don’t seem to be cleaned regularly. A lot of the equipment is ripped, damaged, or literally held together with tape, and there are machines that have been broken for what seems like forever. The gym is also extremely overcrowded, making it difficult to actually get a workout in. People leave weights and other stuff everywhere, and the overall cleanliness is poor. You’ll also see people walking around in suits, which just adds to how unprofessional and uncomfortable the environment feels. For what you pay, you would expect the equipment and facility to be maintained much better. There are already a lot of negative reviews about this place, and unfortunately, I can understand why. Overall, this is just not a gym I would recommend.

It’s getting worse and worse day by day, too overcrowded, everything is broken and not clean, for instance showers in locker rooms, all they care about is money without providing a decent service. As other reviews state i want to share my experience with the manager Diane Schirripa as well, was very unpleasant and her attitude towards members does not seem welcoming at all. Look how they respond to reviews as if they are a great place and treat members well, and we misunderstood them, no it’s not true and if you guys keep it that way you will lose most of your members. Im canceling my membership ASAP.

The YMCA is a great organization and an anchor of the community. Great facility. Always new gym equipment.

The pool is overcrowded. They made family hours from 5 to 8 and added also classes. So one line is crowded with 40 people and other three lines have 2 people for each. Very inconvenient to swim with so many people and spits all over. It looks more as a swamp rather than pool.

I’m writing to formally express my concern about the unprofessional conduct of the YMCA Senior Director named Diane, " she refused to give me her full name" , during two separate interactions with me. In the first situation, regarding my child’s enrollment in a swimming class, I had an agency willing to pay for the registration; however, she refused to even speak with the agency and dismissed the matter by stating she was “too busy,” without providing any workable alternative or assistance. In the second situation, following the incident where a staff member did not allow my mother to enter as a guest to watch my child swim, despite my understanding at the time of obtaining my membership that she was permitted to attend . she was dismissive and unreasonable in her responses. When I explained the discrepancy and that I would be documenting the situation, she became hostile, started mocking me n hung up on me, and then refused to take any further calls, leaving the issue unresolved, since im a new member n my membership just renewed for the second month i asked her to then just cancel my membership n refund me my money since there was misrepresentation while selling this membership to me, I am requesting that the YMCA review these interactions and take appropriate action to ensure respectful communication, accountability, and timely resolution for members and their families, im currently just hanging in the middle...guys be very careful while interacting with women , she comes across as arrogant n uses her authority inappropriately to harass families
