Not a great daycare. The infant classroom was great The toddler classroom not so much half of the staff show up every day with an attitude, There were times I couldn’t even get my child in the classroom because the staff would sit there and just stare at my child, throwing a tantrum at the door. When working in the daycare toddlers throw tantrums. What is 100% unacceptable Is to stare at the child and allow him or her to cry And not intervene as their teacher, and as the staff expected to keep them safe while the parents are absent. They do not respond to messages often. If they have a complaint about your child or if tuition is due, they have no problem Emailing you Or reaching out to you But if you reach out to them It’s a 50-50 chance whether you’ll get a response or not. Some of the documentation they put is false. They stated that my baby had a 8 ounce bottle at 8 o’clock in the morning when I showed up at almost 9 o’clock. She was just being fed. Making false documentations about something so simple as a feeling is concerning. Not to mention when my daughter Had a seizure In their facility, they did not inform me until after the ambulance was already there looking at my child and trying to take her to the hospital. They only called me because they need a consent to take her to the hospital. When I asked them to wait a second considering they just called my phone and my daughter is only 2. She cannot ride in the ambulance by herself. They weren’t willing to wait till they sent a staff member instead. That same staff member ends up reporting false Symptoms that my daughter was showing to my mother when she picked up my other daughter from the facility, that were not mentioned to me nor the ambulance nor the hospital And then that same staff member proceeded to compare my daughter’s incident to a child that attended their facility and died about 3 months ago. Not to mention after Asking for a code to the door every week since my kid started going there and still not being provided one to get into the daycare Is a whole other problem and it’s not like me and the director haven’t been speaking they email me every week with a problem Whether it’s their shortstaffed, whether it’s a student behavior issue whatever it is they email me every week and not once Were me and my children provided a quote to the door we have to wait to be let in everyday. The last time I mentioned it about a week ago, it wasn’t even addressed at all. They ignored me. The unprofessionalism speaks volumes and Personally, my kids won’t be back here.

My child just started attending there around 2-3 weeks ago and I love it. He’s in Infant B Kimberly & Kaley class and I love them. I wanted to give a special shout out to them especially Kimberly. She is so helpful, kind, and informative. You can tell she really loves the kids and with this being my baby first time going to daycare I really appreciate her. I will literally have anxiety if he’s not in the classroom with her lol but again thank you guys❤️

We have had an amazingly positive experience with Kindercare Niskayuna. For context, up until the age of 2, our son was cared for at home by a regular babysitter. We knew we would need to make the transition to daycare eventually, and we weighed several options. As fate would have it, that time came in the midst of the pandemic. Needless to say, this increased our nerves around the transition in a major way. Jessica immediately helped us feel at ease, and was knowledgable, communicative, and reassuring. The center has gone above and beyond when it comes to taking proper precautions with COVID-19 and keeping staff and children safe. Beyond that, the environment has clearly been enriching for our son, who LOVES going to school. It did not take him long to come home and start talking about liking his teachers and his peers. The website makes paying our bill a breeze and the app is a fantastic resource, especially for all of the pictures we receive throughout the day! We could not be more grateful for the experience they have given our son, and our family, during such a challenging time.

This KinderCare location has gone through some changes since we started sending our 3 kids there, but I always feel like my children are in good, safe hands. The center is very clean and professional, and the children learn from an age appropriate curriculum. Billing is easy, and they have their own app, so I can get information (and most importantly, PICTURES!) throughout the day. Edit: I should clarify, the changes are good! I wanted to share that to give perspective on reviews before 2019/2020, which are based on a completely different staff.
