As a single mom with no family nearby, finding childcare I can truly trust is one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made. We’ve been with KinderCare for four years, and I can honestly say they have become an incredible part of our family’s journey.
My daughter started here when she was one year old and is now five. My son started when he was nine and is now thirteen. Even now, he talks about his time there fondly. While he eventually outgrew daycare, he always felt welcomed, cared for, and safe.
What says the most about how much I trust this center is that I commute from Northwest Reno all the way to the Sparks location, even though I live and work in Northwest Reno. That’s a lot of extra driving, but my children’s comfort, happiness, and safety are worth it. KinderCare gives me a sense of security that I can’t put a price on.
Now my youngest daughter has been attending since she was just six weeks old and is currently six months old. Mrs. Liza is absolutely wonderful. She is so loving with the babies, always singing to them, comforting them, and treating them like her own. It is truly the sweetest thing to see.
I also want to recognize all of the infant room teachers. Every teacher my daughter has has been amazing with the babies. They are attentive, caring, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure each child feels loved and cared for. As a mom, especially with a baby so young, it means everything to know she is in such good hands every day.
Mrs. Mary cared for my now five-year-old when she was younger and continues to be one of the kindest, most patient, and gentle teachers. She has watched my daughter grow over the years, and I will always appreciate the love and care she shows her.
Mrs. Angelica is my five-year-old’s current teacher, and my daughter always comes home with wonderful things to say about her. It means so much to know she enjoys her days and feels supported and encouraged in the classroom.
I also want to recognize Mrs. Kassie, the director, and Mrs. Meriam. They consistently go above and beyond to help me whenever they can. Whether it’s helping with schedules, transportation needs, or simply making a stressful day a little easier, they are always willing to help. Their kindness and support mean more to me than they probably realize.
As a parent, you want your children to be safe, loved, and happy when they’re away from you. KinderCare gives me that peace of mind every day. They support my family through different stages of life, and I am incredibly grateful for the care they’ve shown all three of my children.
I would 100% recommend KinderCare to any family looking for a place where their children will be genuinely cared for, supported, and valued.

We have nothing but good things to say about KinderCare. The staff genuinely care about the children and create a warm, welcoming environment where families feel supported. It is clear that the team works hard to help children learn, grow, and feel confident each day.
A special thanks to Director Kassie for her leadership, communication, and dedication to supporting families. Her willingness to listen, help problem-solve, and ensure children receive the care and attention they need has made a meaningful difference for families across Northern Nevada.
KinderCare takes the time to work with partnering agencies to ensure the care and well-being of kids and families. I would recommend this center to families looking for a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for their kids.

Miriam is the best she is very communicative and super sweet and attentive to all the kids in her classroom, ever since she started working there my son has felt more comfortable going to daycare. She’s great we love her!

I removed my daughter from KinderCare 2 years ago for many reasons including giving my child food she was allergic to!!!! When i told them, they said it wasnt in her chart although i had put it in her intake form whenshe first started there and all her teaxhers were aware. When i looked online, her records were all removed. They essentially had gaslit me into thinking it was my fault... Towards the end of her being there, I noticed my daughter had lice which she 100% contracted from KinderCare. I treated her and let staff know in case other kids had it, and they were sending her home every dsy for weeks for "having lice" even after treatment was done 3 times. They claimed she was the only child with lice and when I went to get her, there were several kids that were waiting to be picked up for lice. I obtained a doctors note that the pediatrician stated she was cleared of having lice and they sent her home again!!!! The Director, Angelica, was condescending and retaliatory against my daughter. She had hired several of her family members to staff the school and some random people including some that were vaping outside the classroom door or nodded off in the classroom while the kids were unattended. The best way to describe their school is CHAOS. If you care for your child, please do not send them there.
By the way, I had contacted corporate SEVERAL TIMES to report what was going on, but they did nothing.

I only used this facility twice as backup for my regular day care. The first time I picked my son up he was in different clothes than when I dropped him off. When I asked why they said that he had wet through (he was 1 at the time) during his nap. Fair enough. When I got home and went to put his clothes in the wash, I found that he had vomited all over them. They either didn't know or didn't care to tell me. It wasn't in the daily notes either.
The second time I picked him up he has chewing on a piece of jagged plastic about the size of a grape. Not only could it have cut up his mouth, but he could have chocked on it! Nobody was paying attention to him and noticed he was chewing on something.
The cherry on top is that the center double charged me for one of the times he was there. I have proof that he was with his regular day care during the extra days that I have been charged. They have sent the account to collections and over a year later, they refuse to have it taken off. The latest excuse I received was that "our books are a mess from that time, so you will have to be patient." This is effecting my credit!! They didn't even tell me before it went to collections. No supervision, no accountability, no help to straighten up their mistake.
