This was our first daycare experience, and the bar could not have been set higher. We love our child’s teachers, and it’s clear that everyone in the facility truly cares about the children. Can’t ask for anything more

I am new to daycare because I homeschool my toddler but now that I am happy to begin working a 9 to 5 again, I started looking into daycares that have Pre-K curriculum. I relied heavily on the knowledge of the assistant director, whom I had been in contact with, to connect some dots for me, be transparent with me, and help me understand how this all works. In short, both the director and assistant director were new, so that was concerning because I didn't know that childcare centers turnovers were so high. With that being said, she was very unorganized, from not even being able to tell me what major cross streets the center was on, to not telling me about other fees I am to pay such as a summer camp fee, registration fee, she DID mention a copay but it seems that is all she cared to mention. I was given a packet about the school with dated information, a lot of the paperwork had the old directors info, nothing really in detail about what I am to expect. In short, my child ended up not even attending this childcare because if it was already that unorganized then I felt like I'd be a careless parent to attend any way. But I just got a letter in the mail stating I owe this daycare nearly $300! The only good thing about the school was it's playground. The hallways are too congested, reception area extremely small and cluttered. During the tour, the preschool class had boogery noses and looked unkept. The preK assistant teacher had a big attitude which was very unprofessional and made me not want her as a teacher. I am just floored with the audacity this establishment has to send me a bill knowing full well no one ever attended. I am certainly happy to have switched providers.

My son has been going to this Kindercare for almost a year now. He was on room 2 with miss Chole. He loved her so much she was fun, energetic and really nice around kids. But now as he moved to room 3 he hates it. Dropping off has been a nightmare and we have noticed that teachers don’t even care. My son cried for literally 10 minutes but they didn’t even bother to come and try to console him. They just sit there watching. Even when other kids are crying or pushing each other they simply sit and watch. We used to love this kinder care but I need management need to pay a close attention on their teachers and how they treat the kids.

I absolutely love Summerlin KinderCare! I communicated often with the director Kashmir and Alex - the supervisor who greeted me daily at pickup and drop off. Alex made sure to introduce myself and my sister in law (whose daughter was also in toddler/waddled class) to all the teachers and our favorite teachers Ms Joanna and Ms Rachel are so sweet, kind and attentive to all the children. They take 3-5 pics and videos of our babies daily with detailed captions on their daily learning and activities. My daughter and niece LOVED daycare and LOVED their teachers. My niece Raven has a lot of food allergies so Judy the dietician was sure to greet my sister in law and go over her food allergies and accept our food from home if the meal schedule had allergic food. All of the staff treat our babies as individuals with love and care. You can see them reaching them art, crafts, building and songs daily on the videos of the KinderCare app. It also has a detailed report of bathroom, nap times, and food eaten. Alex the supervisor always let me know of any incidents (there were only two in six months) such as my daughter bumped her chin - which she called me immediately about , my daughter’s diaper rash - which resolved quickly (cream always applied during changes).
