The experience at this center for my 7-year-old was underwhelming to keep things mildly. I enrolled into this center for back up care dates June 9th through June 11th and again from June 15th through June 17th. Before the reservation dates, on June 3rd, 2026, I called and verified ahead of time that although my daughter would be in the kindergarten prep classroom she is 7 years old to which the Assistant Director Catherine Pena stated would be fine. On June 11th, I spoke with Assistant Director Catherine Pena about my daughter feeling uncomfortable using the kindergarten prep bathrooms as it offers virtually zero privacy for school age children. I initially felt mislead as this center advertised itself as being able to care for school age children and a private bathroom is the most basic of necessities for a school age child. Nonetheless, Ms. Catherine Pena assured me after my inquiry into an accommodation for my daughter to use a private bathroom stating, " I got it" and that she would "personally escort my daughter to a private bathroom" regarding resolving this concern. To my surprise, on June 16", my daughter informed me that she was still being told to use the kindergarten prep bathroom despite her stating to staff she was uncomfortable and even being told by an instructor who goes by the name Ms. Kathlyn or something to that effect who assists in the kindergarten prep bathroom that "this is too much" when asking to be escorted to a private bathroom. As a concerned parent, I spoke to another instructor that goes by Ms. Stephanie yesterday on the morning of June 17", in which she informed me politely that although Ms. Pena stated she would help, there was no guarantee that my daughter's request could be accommodated due to the volume of children/ratio of teachers to children. She also stated that Ms. Catherine Pena may find herself busy at times and would also not be able to help with escorting my daughter to a private bathroom. Later on June 17th, upon arrival, I attempted to clarify Ms. Kathlyn's statements to my daughter as I know they made her uncomfortable and I just wanted to clear up any confusion surrounding her statements to my daughter in a respectful manner. Ms. Catherine Pena almost immediately interjected into the conversation with Ms. Kathlyn and myself and proceeded to state it was my daughters "fault for not telling her teachers to call Ms. Catherine" in front of my daughter and that "there was no guarantee that she could accommodate my daughters request." I responded that this felt misleading as Ms. Catherina Pena previously informed me "I got it" which insinuated she would be able to meet my accommodation to which she responded that she meant that she "got my message." During the course of this conversation, Ms. Catherine Pena became increasingly hostile by raising her voice at my daughter and I multiple times. Additionally, she put her hands in my face, cut me off multiple times during the conversation and left mid-way through our conversation stating, "I have other things to do." She also stated that my daughter did not "have to come to this center" and that we were not welcomed additionally. When I asked for further clarification, she stated that "I could do whatever I wanted to do." All in all, Ms. Catherine Pena was extremely unprofessional and combative towards my daughter and I. She made us feel very uncomfortable and I felt very scared for us for what should've been a normal dialogue. Based on Ms. Catherine Pena's actions as an assistant director, it unfortunately appears we are not welcome at this center. Moving forward, I would not recommend this center for parents looking for a supportive and inclusive environment for their children back up care or otherwise. It felt as if we were being singled out for using back up care and not being enrolled in the center full time, which should not matter. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I will never be returning.

My kids absolutely love it here and I think the teachers & staff are pretty great if I do say so myself!
