Pilgrim Medical Center is a privately-owned abortion clinic in Montclair, New Jersey offering the highest level of safe, discreet abortion care.
Our dedicated team of Board Certified and licensed gynecologists are some of the most experienced doctors in the practice of abortion. They all hold current and active admitting and surgical privileges at nearby hospitals. We are one of the few remaining licensed outpatient surgical centers in the state of New Jersey that specializes in abortion care through 24.6 weeks.
Pilgrim Medical Center offers the Abortion Pill (non-surgical abortion) and, unlike most locations that offer these services, if a follow up surgical abortion procedure is necessary it will be done in our facility by our physicians.
As a state licensed outpatient surgical center, Pilgrim Medical Center must, by law, maintain an operating facility in which all actions are directly under the strict supervision of the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services.
All of our employees are highly trained patient care specialists. Our surgical staff consists of Board Certified and licensed gynecologists, a Board Certified anesthesiologist, registered nurses and medical assistants who will tend to all of your surgical needs.
Easy access from all major highways, the town of Montclair maintains parking that is located behind most businesses on Bloomfield Avenue. Parking is metered, and each meter allows up to two hours of parking.

- JVJenn VMar 13, 20215.0My experience here was great! From upstairs when i got my ultrasound to downstairs. It took a while to get seen but my or nurse Yasmin was amazing. She didn’t rush instead she took the time to explain the whole process to me! I thought everyone was going to be so judgmental but nope! Once i opened my eyes in the recovery room the young girl Annell was helping me with everything and she even helped me get dressed, hugged me and walked me out to my ride. Abortions aren’t nothing to be happy about but I’m just glad i had supportive people surrounding me.

Everyone from the top floor and especially downstairs from In the Operating room to the recovering room. All the girls were super friendly. I was a nervous wreck. My nurse in the Opereting room with the beautiful eyes made me feel so comfortable she was very attentive to me. She made feel relaxed and explained everything to me and made me feel at ease. The doctors were great to me and also the nurses in recovery room were excellent as well. I would recommend this place to anyone. All the staff and nursing staff were excellent. Thank you for your caring hearts!
