    For backup care, their process is a complete failure, the manager Marcelle Giles-Abrams (extremely unprofessional person) has a line of parents and their children lined up in the morning, while she reviews the backup care forms that the parents already completed online, with the each parent in line terrified that they will be the next one to be sent home to complete or bring a missing form, which Marcelle has a very low threshold to do, and she probably should have reviewed and informed the parents that something needs to be completed ONE OR TWO Days before, which is standard procedure for backup care in other BH locations. Interestingly after providing the universal health for my son, Marcelle refused to let him in until she SPOKE IN PERSON WITH THE PEDIATRICIAN a request the pediatrician said she has never encountered in 20 years of practice. Marcelle lack of professionalism sets a bad example for the teachers who observe the way she communicates with parents. This BH location deserves a better manager who can better represent BH standards.

    We had a wonderful experience at River School. One of the things that stood out most was that they have two playgrounds, giving the children plenty of opportunities to play outside. The best part of the day was after pickup: the kids would continue playing together on the playground while the parents enjoyed lovely conversations and watched them have fun.

    The teachers are wonderful — caring, responsible, and clearly dedicated to the children. The two stars are a reflection of their hard work, which we truly appreciate. Unfortunately, the management is a different story. There seems to be a disconnect between leadership and the families they serve, with little regard for customer concerns or communication. The Associate Director, Ireina, in particular, has been a consistent source of frustration — her approach and professionalism fall well short of what you'd expect in a childcare setting.

    We over all enjoyed out experience at River School. While it could have been better our oldest developed nicely for 3 years at the school.
