  ⚠️ WARNING TO ALL CONNECTICUT FAMILIES - AVOID RAVELLI MONUMENT - BAIT AND SWITCH PRICING ⚠️ DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR FAMILY IN A TIME OF GRIEF. I went to Ravelli Monument for my MOTHER'S headstone. I worked with Jennifer. I was crystal clear from day one about my BUDGET and that I needed it ready for my mother's birthday. We discussed everything in detail, length, placement, cemetery guidelines, payment. I asked point blank, what is the cost ALL IN. I was quoted one price on the phone. Based on that quote, I PAID IN FULL over the phone. AFTER they had my money, I get an email saying oh by the way there are added costs. Cemetery fees were never included in the "all in" quote she gave me. She never disclosed it until after I paid. By then they told me it was too late to cancel. The final price was hundreds higher than what I was quoted and agreed to. This is classic BAIT AND SWITCH. You quote a grieving son one price to get the sale, then hit him with hidden fees after payment when he can't back out. It is predatory and shameful. I felt completely duped and taken advantage of while grieving my mother. I am filing formal complaints with the BBB, Connecticut Attorney General, and Department of Consumer Protection and posting this experience everywhere. If you go to Ravelli, get EVERY SINGLE FEE IN WRITING, including all cemetery fees, before you pay one cent. Do not trust a verbal quote. Check the fine print. I learned the hard way.   A few years ago I purchased granite vases for a tombstone located at McWilliams cemetery near Talmage. When a careless mower accidently broke one of them, River Valley Memorials replaced it at no charge to me. Great customer service.

  We pre-planned some of our final arrangements including a headstone monument. We worked with Mary Lyn to design a memorial with front and back. Mary Lyn was exceptional to help guide us through the process, let us know the options and associated costs and we are very pleased with the final product. I highly recommend River Valley and Mary Lyn!

  Words can not truly describe how great River Valley Memorials is. They worked with me during a very hard and unexpected death of, who I called, my grandfather. Thank you for everything you have done for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND River Valley Memorials to anyone and everyone.
