In times like this you need all the help you can get. The staff at Bright Funeral Home helped with all the details. They wanted us to have all that we needed and/or wanted for the service. They showed us all the options and the cost of everything. They helped us decide on the things that we wanted and they delivered on all of them. Thank y'all for helping us.

At a time when you can not focus on what is needed, Bright’s, especially Ryan, handled everything that was needed with extra care. They (he) handled all your needs with care. I would like to let them know just how much their professionalism and care was appreciated during my time of need.

Randy & Jill are the most nicest and kindest people to work with. Randy went above and way beyond my expectations and made my dad the most beautiful gravestone i've ever seen. It's hard losing a loved one but Brights Funeral Home always makes things so easy going for us whenever we experience a loss and there's no other place we will ever choose when dealing with a loss. My dad has a beautiful gravestone now all thanks to Brights! I'm so happy I chose them. Such friendly people!

Frequently Asked Questions About Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center

What do I need to know about income tax when I lose a spouse?

Uncertainty about income tax issues can add to the stress experienced from the death of a spouse. You should meet with your family attorney and/or tax advisor as soon as possible to review your particular tax and estate circumstances. Bring a detailed list of your questions to the meeting. If you do not have an attorney or tax advisor, call the IRS toll-free at 800-829-1040 for answers to specific tax questions.

Is there financial help if I need it?

There are a number of options available, including: Determine if the deceased person qualifies for any entitlements. Check with the Social Security Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and with your State Fund. Many people are entitled to get financial assistance with their funeral costs from these agencies if they qualify. Review all insurance policies the deceased person has, including life insurance. Some life insurance policies have coverage clauses for funeral related costs. Find local charities providing financial help for funeral expenses. Search for non profit organizations and for churches in your area. Talk to your funeral director about cremation options - these can be much less expensive depending on your choices.
