  We had a very disappointing experience with Chesterbrook Academy. In just four weeks, we saw little evidence of meaningful classroom activity—no student work came home, outdoor time seemed minimal, and overall engagement appeared low. More concerning was our child’s reaction. He cried daily at drop-off and pick-up, which was completely out of character compared to his previous preschool experience. We also had concerns about supervision and routines. Our child reported that at the end of the day, children were made to sit against a wall and “wait for their mommys and daddys” after clean-up. While I understand structure is needed, this raised red flags. Screen time was another major issue. Our child repeatedly reported watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, which we also observed firsthand during pick-up hours. This was happening in a classroom of 2–2.5 year olds, which does not align with recommended childcare standards. Although we raised this multiple times, it appeared to continue. Billing was also problematic, with repeated errors and a nearly 90-day delay in receiving a refund after withdrawal. Ultimately, we withdrew because our child was clearly unhappy and something didn’t feel right. I’d encourage other parents to ask detailed questions and observe closely.

  Great teachers, communication and active community! It is clear my son is happy, safe, and well cared for in their infant classroom. We’re very happy we chose Chesterbrook as his daycare.

  We absolutely love Chesterbrook Academy. Our daughter, Avery has been attending since she was just 3½ months old, and from day one it has felt like a second home. Every morning she lights up when we arrive and often lunges straight into her teachers’ arms, which says more than words ever could. Mrs. Theda and Mrs. Nadia, along with the rest of the incredible teaching team, have been true staples in our daughter’s upbringing. I truly cannot speak highly enough about their love for children, endless patience, and creativity with the little ones. Whether it’s arts and crafts, story time, or structured play, I always know that Avery has had a full, happy, and enriching day. I love the pictures they take too!! Everyone at Chesterbrook is personable, friendly, and professional. The leadership is equally outstanding—Principal Mrs. Kerry and Assistant Principal Mrs. Reagan are warm, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the events they coordinate with the PTA to school pictures and so much more, it’s evident that they genuinely care about the children, families, and the community they’ve built. And don’t even get me started on the food! I swear Avery eats better than I do some days—the meals are nutritious, thoughtfully prepared, and clearly enjoyed by the kids. Chesterbrook Academy has exceeded every expectation we had and more. Knowing our child is loved, nurtured, and thriving there gives me complete peace of mind. Highly, highly recommend!
