  Extremely disappointing experience with King KinderCare. This place has been one issue after another since our daughter started attending. Unfortunately, over the past couple of weeks, things have gotten significantly worse, especially since Myranda left and corporate management took over. We have repeatedly received closure messages the night before, often leaving us with little to no time to make alternate arrangements. This past week was especially frustrating. After we had already dropped our daughter off, we received a message after 8:00 AM stating that her classroom would be closing at noon. I didn’t see the message until the facility called asking where we were. This put my wife and me in an extremely difficult situation, as we both work demanding upper-management positions and cannot simply leave work on short notice. Then, later that same day, we received another message informing us that the classroom would be closed for the next three weeks. We understand that staffing issues can happen, and we understand that sometimes circumstances are outside the facility’s control. However, the lack of communication and the extremely short notice have made this situation incredibly difficult for our family. Parents depend on childcare facilities to provide reliable care and, just as importantly, clear and timely communication when something changes. At this point, we are left scrambling to figure out childcare for the next three weeks with very little notice. We chose KinderCare because we expected a dependable childcare environment. Unfortunately, our experience has been anything but dependable lately. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously because families should not have to constantly wonder whether they will receive a closure message at the last minute.

  Always over ratio and smells like propane leaking everywhere. Always short staffed and constant turnover due to lack of good management! I would leave no stars if possible. Nothing but problems ever since my daughter was there. Sending messages the night before saying they couldn’t take our daughter because of being “short staffed”. And don’t ask them give your kid any medicine or treatments. Totally incompetent on so many levels. My daughter was at Elkin kindercare for over a year and never had these type of issues. Bad management equals high turnover and facility problems.

  My son has been here since he was 7 weeks old. He is going to be 3 in November. Meghan and Myranda have always assured me of my childs safety and addresses any and all of my concerns immediately! I can honestly say that I trust both of them with my childs life any day. Meghan is amazing! She cares about you and your family and will always be there for anything you may need! Always super sweet and professional. I also want to say, I love that kindercare sends daily updates and photos of your child. Every parent has worries and are skeptical of daycare, but you can trust that your child(ren) will ALWAYS be in great hands here!! I love all of the teachers here. I want to give a special shout out to Meghan, Myranda, Zara, Kristen, Melanie, Tanya and LeeLee!! All of you have loved and cared for my son each and every day and Tanya has even come to BOTH of his birthday parties!! Everyone here is genuine and involved. I am grateful for each of you.
