Church of the Outer Banks is a community of believers from all ages and backgrounds. On Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in First Flight High School's auditorium in Kill Devil Hills, you’ll find a family-friendly atmosphere that is biblical, welcoming, multi-generational, prayerful and missional. Doors open for service at 9:00 AM. Service is available to live stream or listen on demand. We are a church that stands on the authority of scripture and believes our vision is to love God, love others, and live on mission. We offer children, youth, young adult, men's, women's, and marriage ministry groups for bible study. We are part of the Anglican Church of North America through the Diocese of the Carolinas. We invite you to come join us for worship or Wednesday morning prayer at our Church Office.

Kids Ministry

Designed for kids ages nursery to 5th Grade. Church of the Outer Banks puts a very high priority on loving our children. We believe that our children are among the greatest of blessings. We live this out in many ways, including equipping parents by showing them what it looks like to be God-honoring, Biblical leaders of their families. Our goal is to create and maintain a warm and dynamic atmosphere in which we point our kids to the truths of Jesus. Our children’s ministry aims to partner with you as parents in the spiritual development of your children.

Rooted Youth Ministry
Rooted Youth Ministry

Rooted Youth exists to encourage, empower, and equip middle and high school students to love God, love others, and live on mission. Each week they come together for some food, fun, fellowship and time in the Word!

Devoted Women Ministry
Devoted Women Ministry

DEVOTED exists to provide a nurturing community of women where everyone has a seat at the table. We make space in our busy lives to study Gods word, gather in fellowship, practice using our gifts to serve and encourage one another and spend time connecting with Jesus through worship and prayer.

Men's Ministry
Men's Ministry

We all need godly men in our lives for a multitude of reasons. Our most immediate and highest priority is to engage and equip men to pursue Jesus Christ in community with other men. Let Church of the OBX men be described as; “men after God’s own heart.” Salty Men's Group has different groups that meet throughout the week and they also have a Thursday morning Men's bible study group.     From the moment you walk through the doors, you are welcomed into a loving, caring, and genuine community that truly feels like family. This church has been such a blessing to my life, not only through the relationships I’ve built but through the biblical teaching that consistently points people to Christ. The messages are theologically sound, rooted in Scripture, and delivered in a way that impacts both the heart and everyday life. Every sermon challenges, encourages, and inspires me to grow deeper in my faith. What stands out most is this church’s commitment to serving others. Their dedication to making a positive impact throughout the Outer Banks community is evident in everything they do. They don’t just talk about loving their neighbors—they actively live it out. There are also so many opportunities to get connected through Bible studies, small groups, and ministries for every stage of life. Whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with Christ for years, there is a place for you here. This is a growing, thriving church where lives are being changed, friendships are being formed, and people are finding hope and purpose.     "This church has been such a blessing to our family. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are welcomed with genuine kindness and love. The people truly love Jesus and are committed to living out their faith. The preaching is biblical, Christ-centered, and both encouraging and convicting, always pointing back to God's Word. If you're looking for a church that faithfully teaches Scripture and has a warm, welcoming community, I highly recommend visiting."

    Church of the Outer Banks is a wonderful congregation full of people that put our community first. Gospel based sermons, this church preaches the greatness of God. They’re also very invested in our youth. We are so grateful to be members.

    A welcoming, healthy Christian Church. Contemporary Christ focused worship. Teaching is verse by verse biblical context. The people are incredible and kind.
