He also checked on us afterwards to make sure we were doing ok, which was greatly appreciated. My husband and I will be preplanning with Cumby as well. It really lifts a huge burden off of the family members left behind.

A dear friend referred me to them just in time before the passing of mother. I worked with the most beautiful woman named Nina who took the time to set up and guide me through making all the necessary arrangements for my mother and aunt. She was patient, knowledgeable, so caring, and just went above and beyond answering every question and following up with me. Thank you Nina. Within a month of my first visit, my mother passed. I text Nina and she informed the home. I personally received a phone call from John Cumby, and his son, Andrew. It meant the world. I was then contacted by Funeral Director Ian Wall, and words cant express how wonderfully caring and supportive he has been through the entire process. He has a huge heart for people and goes above and beyond to make sure my every need, question is answered and to know that I am not alone. He kept me informed of cremation and time of, so my aunt and I could say our prayers. He even hand delivered paperwork and my mothers ashes when I was ill. I had questions after the fact and he even answered them all while on a family vacation. From the office staff, to the 2 gentlemen that picked my mother up to taker to the home… everyone at Cumby are truly professional, Knowledgeable and most of caring.. they made me feel like family! After 90 years of life, my mother-in-law passed away peacefully in High Point, NC. She lived a blessed life and our family celebrates her accomplishments, experiences, and our time with her. The family engaged Cumby Funeral Home in High Point to arrange for services, as out-of-state family traveled to travel to High Point as quickly as possible. Our family was connected with Ian Wall and began the funeral planning. Ian was perfect at matching services to the needs of our family. His advice was impeccable and he provided us with an education in what we needed to understand during a difficult time for the family. As immediate family members arrived from out-of-state, Ian connected them with Amber Locklear to arrange the necessary paperwork and signatures. Amber was absolutely compassionate and wonderful in the process. She ensured that everyone understood the paperwork and confirmed all documents were completed properly. At the rare times that Ian was inaccessible, Randy Kendrick continued the excellent service and support that the family needed. Randy made us all feel comfortable, appreciated, and supported. Randy is simply an excellent human being in every way. The entire Cumby Funeral Home team was extremely professional and compassionate. We could not have asked for more. Ian Wall’s friendliness and compassion made us all feel as if we were being assisted by a friend, instead of a funeral home employee. We will never be able to properly thank Ian, or be able to praise him enough for his excellence.
