  My daughter attended a discovery day recently & it went very well. They allowed her to play in the water & have fun. They were also able to get her to take a nap without much fussing. The teacher is fairly new to the company but did a great job with my daughter. I was nervous but really do believe shes in good hands here. We still are undecided due to all of the moving pieces on our end but would highly recommend this daycare to anyone.

  I must say choosing this day care was the BEST DECISION we could have made for our daughter. Watching her growth here has been an incredible experience. The staff is amazing. Everyone from Ms Shaundra & Ms Debbie to all the teachers are all friendly and very loving toward the children. They go above and beyond to make sure you and your child feel welcomed. It's been a very fascinating and rewarding experience watching my child go from being shy and not wanting me to leave her at daycare to seeing her blossom and really take to the very inviting family-like environment at the Growing Years.

  My child attended TGY for 5 weeks. Here is my experience below. I wanted to wait until my kiddo had been in her new school a few weeks before i wrote this review and make sure i wasn't judging my experience here prematurely. I'm glad to finally say, I'm soooo glad my child does NOT attend TGY anymore. The way I feel that my kid was treated because it was her first time attending a daycare was ridiculous. My kid would holler every morning i dropped her off. I thought she wasn't used to the setting but i strongly believe it was her being treated badly in the classroom. They moved her into the 2 year old class although she was 3 because she didn't want to sit during arts and crafts and because she wouldn't nap. (Again, what 3 year old likes to sit for extended periods of time and also, this was her very 1st daycare experience.) It didn't make sense to me why they would move a child from an allegedly more structured environment to one where there is less structure. The icing on the cake was when i saw some teacher with her foot behind my daughter's chair preventing her from moving out of her seat while the other kids were able to run around and play. I got my girl out there quickly for obvious reasons! My girl is now at another school and when i tell you she is thriving i mean it!!! Instead of throwing her out of the classroom because she had a hard time napping, Her new and amazing teacher sits with her and comforts her until she sleeps. Within a week of attending , my girl naps with no problem for 2.5 hrs. She sits at the centers with her friends and does crafts. I've never seen her hit anyone. All of the things TGY said my daughter did she has never done at this new school and these are things i can verify since this new school has cameras, something TGY promised but never delivered on. 🤔🤔 I'm so grateful for the switch. I never have to worry about whether my child is being treated fairly or is safe at her new facility.

  If I could leave no stars I would. The way I just overheard a teacher in the UPS store talking about a child is enough to assume it gets bad over there. What’s worse is that she was uniform lol. Basically what I heard is that teachers stick together no matter what, they blame parents, and withhold information about incidents that they have in “spreadsheets”… Someone should look into this place, for the sake of the children.

  I can't say enough good things about the staff at TGY! The teachers go above and beyond to learn about your children and adapt to their needs, while creating a positive learning environment for the whole class. The facility itself is incredibly well maintained, with an indoor rec room for days when the weather doesn't allow for outside play, and vibrant classrooms. You can really tell how much each and every employee cares about their kids!
