  Mrs.Gray and Ms. Frazier have worked so hard with my son. They’re amazing inside and out and we’re so thankful for them!

  If I could give them 0 stars, I certainly would do so this place has the worst communication skills ever, since day 1 it was problem after problem. The first being the communication of when one of the kids could start school, we kept getting the run around on that, then it was the part when they didn’t have a spot in after school for one of the kids but had a spot for the other who actually started late( they did that because she’s a foster child and get vouchers) So me thinking he was in aftercare picked him up late and the office manager or whatever she is in the second office(with long eyelashes) tried to have a NASTY attitude, like I said tried because she definitely wasn’t gone speak to me in that manner, she tried to insinuate that my daughter couldn’t afford after school, lady please, we had no problem paying that up for the year….next when my daughter dropped the baby off one morning Candace said she needed to speak to me about some paperwork so my daughter gave her my number she never called, I picked him up that afternoon, she seen me and didn’t say a word, the next day when she took him to school they said he can’t stay because he needed some paperwork smh! After that I just never let him go back, I enrolled him in private school…You send emails they don’t reply, you pick your kid up they don’t really have nothing to say oh but if you send your “HUSBAND” who they think is the child’s uncle they have so much to talk about, they all smiles and wanting talk about getting Pepsi and wanting to know when will he be back lol yea!!!! All in all this place is a joke and the office staff is RUDE, the teachers are ok except the the time I walked up and Ms.E was yelling at my baby then when she seen me tried to play like she was joking…if you getting on him about something fine, you don’t have to yell and don’t see me at the door then act like I didn’t just hear you..

  Everyone at the DHLC were great, especially Miss Debbie and the Guppies teachers. I’ve had experience with several other local daycares and this by far has been one of my favorites! The staff were very good about Covid protocols and cleanliness. I appreciated the teachers not wearing their outside shoes into the classroom as my baby was obviously on the floor a lot. Anyone would be lucky to have Miss Kaitlin and the other teachers at DHLC take care of their children. I would absolutely send my children here again!

  Discovery harbor has been a wonderful learning environment for my little one! He learned so much and I know he was cared for. Highly recommend this center to everyone!!
