  I recently toured this KinderCare location because I was looking for a safe and supportive environment for my son. Unfortunately, the experience left me very uncomfortable. During the tour, the person showing me around asked me, “Is your son special?” I found that wording to be inappropriate and insensitive, particularly coming from someone working in a childcare environment. There are much more professional and respectful ways to ask a parent whether their child has developmental needs, receives additional support, or may need accommodations. What made the situation more concerning was that the employee apologized twice after asking the question, which confirmed to me that she recognized that the wording was inappropriate. I later contacted the director to express how uncomfortable and frustrated I was about the interaction. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging my concern or offering an apology, the director told me that she did not believe the comment was made. I found that response particularly disappointing. Whether or not the director personally witnessed the conversation, I was reaching out as a parent to explain how the interaction made me feel. I would have appreciated the concern simply being acknowledged and addressed rather than being told that the comment didn’t happen. Parents should feel comfortable discussing their children’s needs with childcare professionals without feeling judged or having to defend their children. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional guidance to staff on respectful and appropriate communication with families.

  I wouldn’t bring child to this location. Walked in for a tour my husband and I and a teacher was screaming at the top of her lungs in the toddler room at those children and I quote “pick up your stuff , your parents don’t live here” . The front desk woman motioned for her to be quiet when I said something I also let the director Regina I think her name is how I feel. Looks like they has the infants laying on dirty mats on the FLOOR !! They can’t afford cotts? Infant room we toured was dirty too. Why is the staff wearing hair scarfs , sandals , and pajama pants ?? Unprofessional.

  I have had my son here since he was six weeks and my daughter when she was two years- it’s been nearly two years and I love it how they treat us like family. They’ve taken care of us and even was great when I pulled my kids for a summer off because I had a summer break. I even joined their team because they were so welcoming and I wanted to help them even more and it’s been so awesome! My daughter even says she loves school because of this place- her old daycare made her have panic attacks from attending so this was amazing!

  We toured the school today. We took my daughter and she was very excited to be there. I enjoyed learning about the classroom and curriculum. However, some of these reviews are concerning. My daughter will not be attending the school and that disappointing because my husband and I were 100% in

  My child has been attending this Kindercare location for about a month. I have had nothing but positive experiences from the tour we completed to now! The teachers and admin at this location clearly care about your child and love what they do! I am grateful for having a safe, nurturing environment for my little one to go to while I work! Thanks for everything!! :)
