Our two children have attended KinderCare at Knoxway and have had wonderful experiences. Our little boy is now in kindergarten but begs to come inside to pick up his little sister just to see everyone. Our little girl has attended from infancy and I don’t know what I would have done without all the sweet teachers and their kindness and support. I would highly recommend Knoxway KinderCare for your littles. They do very professional teacher conferences and special events through the year. My son was so proud at his graduation and it was a core memory for our whole family. Love our Knoxway family 💗💗💗

Kindercare Knox Way. Has been such a great place for my little one. She comes home exited to tell me what she has learned and all the fun activities. I also love how family oriented Kindercare Knox Way is. They have a lot of family center activities. It makes me feel like a big family. Getting to know other families are always fun.

Our son has been enrolled at Knoxway since Jan 2025. Things got off to a rough start, but with a change in center leadership and a few teachers things have dramatically improved! The cleanliness of the center has improved a lot! The staff is welcoming, warm, and communicate well in person and via the app. The children all seem very happy and well taken care of. The new staff truly care about each child, the center, and the families. Our pre-schooler has thrived socially, emotionally, and educationally in the past few months. He quickly adjusted to this center, and even wants to stay longer when we come to pick up. He has friends that he talks about at home and even asks about school and his teachers on weekends.
There are several negative reviews posted, but those are from the time of the previous center leadership. As a highly educated, slightly over protective mom of a preemie, I am very selective about who cares for my child. During the change in leadership we considered leaving. I’m so glad that we stuck through the transition and gave the new leadership a chance. We choose to have our child in preschool here because we believe in what the new director and asst. director are doing to improve this center. I truly believe that in the next 2-3 Knoxway will be an outstanding center under the leadership of Mrs. Catina!

Our son was enrolled in the Knox Way KinderCare for two months and we unenrolled him. Our primary concerns were safety and cleanliness. Our experience was similar to three other parents, Daniel Madden, Sarah Barnhart, and Sierra House, who posted recent reviews. We had multiple instances where we picked up our son and he had an injury that was not reported to us and the staff had no idea what had happened to him when asked. These were injuries that left bruises on his head and neck, and we weren't notified. We were also concerned about cleanliness. We observed our son’s diaper being changed on the bathroom floor without a changing mat and the failure of a daycare worker to change their soiled gloves before handling our son. Our son came home several times with diaper rash and remnants of poop left in his diaper from a prior diaper change. In our short time at KinderCare, we observed high staff turnover and inadequate resources for staff to safely perform their job (e.g., changing mats, wipes). We reported our concerns to the Center and cited these specific issues as the reason for unenrolling our son from KinderCare. We also reported these concerns to KinderCare phone number provided in the response to this review.

I pulled my daughter out of this school! I am very close to many of the teachers there and can tell you about the HIGH TEACHER TURNOVER the teachers there are often left with too many kids, (up to 3x the legal ratio allowed.) Check the cameras... I want every potential parent who walks in that door to look at the monitor on the wall in front of the front desk and count all the kids the cameras show in each room versus how many teachers are in there and I can swear on my life that at least 1 will not have enough teachers in the room, thus putting the children and the teacher in a potentially dangerous situation. Needs don't get met, the children are not happy, the teachers are even unhappier. I constantly hear them complaining about the director and how rude she is with them. When my daughter was still enrolled there, the turnover was so high that there was a different floater in my daughter's room every day, as they couldn't hold down a permanent teacher. It was very confusing for the children. Anytime I asked the director about this she was very dismissive.
