When we first started the daycare route we started with knowledge beginnings in Cary of Highhouse Road. And Cornerstone. It was a very bad experience. When we started at knowledge beginnings, they were very welcoming and it seemed like a beautiful place.
My son was six months old at the time and he was in the room with tiny little babies, eight weeks old babies. They have a menu that they can feed your child with as they grow and I will say the menu seems wonderful, but I actually worked for the daycare for one day and saw what they actually feed our children. It was disgusting. The burger patties looked absolutely nasty. So I’m not sure. A lot of parents actually know what they are being fed. I then had little things happen from time to time, like he would go to school with socks on and come home with no socks, and they didn’t know where the socks were. Or just other little things. Then one day I went to pick up my son and it was after five so he was moved into another room.
Mind you at this point he was eight months old playing with eight week old babies still. To me that is a hazard. And not educational at all. I feel like a lot of kids learn from other kids. Well, the day I went to pick him up after five he was sitting on the floor screaming bloody murder. There was a teacher texting on her phone in the corner saying that my son was just fussy and wouldn’t nap. I asked her if she proceeded to pick him up to try to soothe him and she said no she was hoping that he would tire himself out. That right there made me extremely upset. She said he had been crying for an hour. I would understand slightly if there was 10 kids in there, but it was two kids. My son and one . I grabbed my son and we left. I then went in the next day to unenroll him. I explained my concerns to the director that was subbing in for another director. And they had an excuse for every single thing that I had a problem with. While working there for one day, I also saw a teacher in the toddler room because that is the room I was working in, screaming at the kids, being very aggressive when grabbing them. That is what made me feel like I don’t need to be there and I don’t need my child there. I will never recommend this facility ever again. Completely unacceptable. For the money you have to pay for that specific facility it is unbelievable. Please do your research and look at reviews before sending your child somewhere. This mama bear was very very upset and disappointed
The district leader reached out to tell me things have changed and this is so long ago. This incident was 3-4 months ago. Not long ago at all. Do not recommend

Great place for developing young kids , our daughter goes here for 2-3 years now , no complaints. They have some really long term teacher who are working there for 5+ years , best thing is those teachers kids also go to this daycare so definitely tells you something . We like this place and Miss Maureen and Alex and Shae, Ms Clarilin, Suzette , Sumari, Tina, Angie and Miss Nae are some of the best teachers they have

My 7 year old daughter and I moved to Apex 2 years ago. Our search for a daycare center that balanced education, social skills, and character building in a supportive and caring environment began.
We found that and so much more at Knowledge Beginnings! We found a family. Ms. Shay and Ms. Jessy are amazing administrators who lead with such grace and kindness. The staff communicates well with each other and with parents. Whether it's social activities occurring,
bumps and bruises that sometimes happen, conflicts between friends that resulted in teachable moments or funny anecdotes that will make you giggle with your child... you are informed.
The teachers are all wonderful. They do a fantastic job connecting to and reaching EVERY children on various social, emotional, and educational levels. Hayden's teacher, Ms. Tina holds a very special place in our hearts. She is one of the best teachers I've EVER seen. She uses real life teachable moments, motivates the kids to do their best, and makes learning fun. She truly has exemplary and well-rounded teaching skills.
I also LOVE the diversity found with both the staff and the KB families. We have learned about Ramadan, Diwali, and so many other rich cultural and religious traditions.
I really could go on and on about the positive impact KB has had on our lives. I've found somewhere I trust WHOLEHEARTEDLY with my child's well-being....which is priceless. We are honored to be a part of the Knowledge Beginnings' family and appreciate the consistent love and care we've been shown.
