The teachers, the staff, and the families are what make this place so special! Both of our kids had a hard time adjusting to school since they had previously stayed home with me (3 and 1 1/2). However, the teachers’ open communication and genuine care for our children helped them adjust quicker than we thought they would. Every time you step into the building you just feel good knowing your children are there - everyone knows your child by name, the classrooms are set up in a Montessori style, as they reach 2-3 they begin to make choices for themselves, participate in care for the classroom, they build healthy friendships, develop emotional awareness, etc etc etc. We feel indebted to this place for our children’s personal growth. We unfortunately have to move so we pulled them out at 4 and 2. We would’ve kept both until kindergarten if possible. Our family’s favorites are Ms. Kathryn, Ms. Zoe, Ms. Victoria, Ms. India, Ms. Sarah, Mr. Brandon, Ms. Tiffany, Ms. Lavender (also known as Ms-a-lavender via our daughter lol), Ms. Celeste, and Ms. Kamiah. We love Bright Horizons at Harrison Park!

My wife and I agreed that this Bright Horizon was great and our tour guide Ericka was the best out of all the daycares we visited. She also made us comfortable by answering all of our hard questions… We thank you but by this location being a little too far from our jobs we couldn’t commit

We've been a Bright Horizons Harrison Park family since 2022, and I truly cannot say enough good things. When we enrolled, my son was almost 3 and my daughter was just 4 months old. My son had been at a couple of other daycares before, and they were perfectly fine, but Bright Horizons just felt right from the start. What stood out immediately was how warm and relational the experience felt. Not just the teachers, but the entire staff learned our names which may seem small to some people but meant a lot to me. As a former educator, I pay close attention to curriculum, and I've been genuinely impressed. There's a real rigor here, with a strong balance of academic preparation, social-emotional learning, and thankfully, play! When my son transitioned to kindergarten, he was so well prepared that we actually joke he was too ready. He had already mastered so much of the kindergarten curriculum through the kindergarten prep program that he found himself a little bored at first. That's a great problem to have, and I'll take it! We also appreciate how thoughtfully they handle food allergies. It's one less thing to worry about, and that peace of mind adds up. Speaking of peace of mind: we actually live quite a distance from this center. At one point we tried switching to a closer daycare to cut down the commute. It wasn't a strong fit, and within about a year, we were back. The drive is absolutely worth it. When you find a place that genuinely cares for your children and your family, you don't let that go. Bright Horizons has been a true partner in bringing up our kids, and we're so grateful.

A Perfect Fit After a Long Search After a brief experience at another daycare where my son needed more individualized attention, we decided to hire a nanny to provide the one-on-one care he required. As he grew and started crawling, it became clear he needed more stimulation and social interaction than we could provide at home. We toured several Bright Horizons locations, but Harrison Park was the only one with availability—and I’m so grateful it worked out this way! Even though it’s out of the way for us, my son genuinely looks forward to going every single day, which tells me everything I need to know. I have to give special recognition to Mrs. Muriel Irvin, who was incredibly patient during our adjustment period. My son didn’t nap at all in those early weeks, which I know couldn’t have been easy, but Mrs. Irvin handled it with such grace and understanding. She provides detailed updates about the different skills and concepts he’s grasping while at school, which gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s not just being watched, but truly nurtured and educated. Harrison Park has been exactly what our family needed, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff’s dedication and Mrs. Irvin’s exceptional care have made all the difference for our son’s development and happiness.
