  My mother was a patient in the rehab section. They gave here a high dose of laxative and denied it. My mother was just getting over a 10 day bout with CDIF. This error had her living on the toilet for three more days. The nurse eventually called my sister admitting the mistake. She now has a soar on her butt from constant wiping. They don’t wash her clothes like they’re supposed to and when questioned some of the staff laugh and reply “whatcha lookin at me like that for? I ain’t in charge of your wash?”(housekeeping). I brought it up to the DON and she mumbled how it should have gotten done and they finally came and did it. She had a Dr. appointment and they allowed her to miss it. It’s not at all unusual to wait 30 minutes and as long as 50 to get your call light answered at night! This is the slow time right??? I suggest anyone considering this facility or being advised by sociol workers at CHNE or any other place, RUN from it just as fast as you can! Don’t fall for the new management line! They better get the old management back! God help the place if they were worse! My mother has been in and out of 16 seperate hospital and rehab visits for the last 2 year only being at home for 60 days of those 2 years. We’ve seen it all and I’m sorry to say this place is the worse! Sorry mom!
