During one of the hardest times in my life, the staff at Paul Funeral Home treated my family with incredible kindness, compassion, and professionalism. They handled everything from transporting my father from our home to the crematorium to helping us plan a beautiful Celebration of Life service. They truly made us feel like family and guided us through every step with care and patience. Their services were also very affordable, which helped ease some of the stress during such a difficult time. I will always be grateful for how they cared for my father and supported our family. I highly recommend them.

I'm so grateful for the incredibly kind and helpful staff. They offered immense support during a very difficult time. Their compassion truly made a difference when my dad passed. I appreciate their thoughtfulness more than words can say. Thank you for being such a wonderful resource when my family really needed a soft place to land.

In response to the comment below. There is no reason any funeral home would ask to be the beneficiary of any life insurance policy unless the client requested they be in order to pay for their services out of the money being left to said client. Even then, lawyers should be involved as the funeral home can not be switched to be a beneficiary of a non-relative without that relatives consent and a stack of paperwork; which is required by law to have copies made for both the client and funeral home. This simply does not make sense and it sounds like the client below may be venting and looking for someone to blame because his/her loved ones insurance company/whomever may be attempting to provide the services of transferring money left to him/her as a beneficiary to the deceased is jerking them around. Please remember that these companies go out of their way not to approve claims because THEY then lose money. That said, he/she needs to contact their lawyer in order for this to be straightened out. As for the decor at Paul's funeral home: it may be "dated," but it is beautifully coordinated and tasteful. Besides, is the decor a core need when attending a funeral? No, its certainly not. The furniture afforded at any funeral home is a courtesy so that those attending have a place to sit outside of the viewing area if needed. Most of these negative comments seem to be disgruntled nonsense from people with their nose stuck up too high into the air. I'm a former client two times over and have never had a problem. The majority of any funeral planned for a loved one is planned by their family and coordinated by their assisting funeral home-they are not responsible for the music choices your loved one would have wanted at their service. They are there to facilitate the music playing. Also, expressing nasty comments about someone's weight problem is usually an indication that the person expressing such opinions has a problem of their own. Insecurity is a hell of a force, but really pull your head out so it may see the light. Larger funeral homes may indeed be more decodant, but they lack the personal care Paul's Funeral Home has their staple in. That said, there is one more point to correct from previous comments. Funerals are expensive; averaging 7-9k per funeral. Yes, that's absolutely ridiculous. However, given that fact, Paul's Funeral Home manages to stay competitive with other funeral homes, but they are generally cheaper and offer a variety of packages with associated pricing that's fair for what services they go far and beyond to provide their clientele basis. They have many packages that are priced 1-3k below the national average without any loss of quality in the service of your loved one. If you think they're expensive, go drop 10k at Bowie. Their cold hearted "professionals" would be more than happy to take your money

A+ for Paul Funeral Home and Staff. A close family member of mine passed away and the entire staff handled the situation beautifully. They were honest, sympathetic, and nobody tried to upsell or take advantage of us in such difficult time. The woman who handled our arrangements was incredible. She even had the right kind of humor to keep things from getting too heavy, but was quick to pull out tissues when emotion became overwhelming. She provided anecdotes from her own life...and was just the perfect person to have on our side through this. I highly recommend Paul Funeral Home . They make the best out of the worst situation and treated us like Family .....Thank you again for everthing
