- DDDesireeDec 4, 20242.0As a member of the church, I was deeply disappointed in the leadership in this ward. However, I still gave 2 stars because I was raised in the church and know the teaching are true. I live in Texas. I reached out to the bishop through the LDS website and on Facebook to get help for my family member who is an inactive member that lived here. I was completely ignored. I have never been more ashamed and embarrassed to call myself a member. I ended up flying to Missouri to help them get a place to live. They are no longer assigned to this location but are reluctant to go to a LDS church because of this experience. I can’t say that I blame them. I don’t know if this is how Missouri treats there members but in Texas we help all our members in need, regardless of how often they attend church or what they are going through.
