  What an amazing community of people! The staff and residents are some of the friendliest people I've met. I play shuffle board with my dad and his friends every Wednesday evening and it puts a smile on my face every time! The food is delicious!

  I have nothing but great things to say about Novel Place!! I was looking to move mom from a Memory Care unit at another facility and remembered seeing their beautiful building when going to Price Chopper! Mom had full time private duty caregivers and it no longer made sense to have her at a facility that also provided care staff. So, I set up an appointment and was so impressed that I signed the lease that same day! Not only is Novel Place gorgeously decorated and meticulously maintained but their staff is kind, courteous and always puts their residents first. The food is delicious and they offer a great variety of choices. While mom wasn't able to socialize much due to her health, I personally, loved seeing the residents spending time together in the beautiful lobby or dining area. Especially, on Chiefs Sundays!! I feel so grateful that my dear mom was in such a safe and wonderful place and highly recommend.

  The Novel Place is true to its name. The first words out of my mouth after entering the lobby was, “I want to live here”. It is an immediate experience of the senses. The interior design is off the charts. There is music playing, there is a subtle fragrance that is very pleasant. They have thought of everything, and it shows in the details. The apartments are beautiful. The design is done with seniors in mind but that does not equate to old and boring looking. It is gorgeous and very comfortable in size. The staff is another differentiator. They are kind. They truly like older people and are trained to understand who they are working with. They are involved in activities, so the residents get to know them. They pay attention to the needs of the residents. They are watching them to see patterns so if something is awry, they notice. The food is another surprise. It is not your bland, boring menu. The chef is fantastic, and the variety is great. The service at dinner is outstanding. There is a guardian angel that serves meals. She makes everyone feel known and cared for. She is paying attention and helping the residents with more than just their meals. The transition my mom has experienced after moving in is nothing short of miraculous. She is 82 years old and a change this big would rock any of us. However, my mom is very happy, feels safe, and she has already met a lot of very kind, caring people that are all her neighbors, her community. It is exactly what she needed in this season of her life. If this sounds too good to be true, then you need to go check it out for yourself. It is for real. It is a model of senior living that I hope becomes the norm for our aging boomers.

  We have been here 3 months and love Novel Place. Staff is friendly and accommodating, food is good. Would recommend to anyone wanting to downsize and move in to a brand new apartment.
