  This review is based on a lack of service, accessibility and transparency in trying to fulfill a referral for my daughter to receive care that she needs. On April 7th, her primary care provider put in the referral to be seen at Creative Connections. I received the standard "You should hear from them within a few days to book your appointment." I waited a few days but never heard anything so I called to try to get the ball moving. I was told that she would be put on waitlist because they're at capacity and that I would be hearing back from them in about a month, which would be in May. Today is June 10th, no follow-up yet so I called again for an update. The receptionist I talked with informed me that it could be another couple months for an intake appointment! Two months on a wait list is already far too long for any rational person's patience, especially when they're simply trying to care for their child. Further conversation revealed that she is currently #59 on the list. When asked what her position was she was first put on the list, I was told that information doesn't exist. When asked again how long it may take, I was given the answer of "I don't know, the therapists kind of pick and choose who they want when they have an opening." This tells me everything I needed to know. We could be waiting another month or be left in limbo for a completely indeterminate amount of time. The intake process seems to be completely arbitrary and do not recommend anyone tolerate this kind of nonsense. Again, this is not a critique of the care provided to those who are being seen. It's a critique of the incredibly poor service and system of managing incoming patients. Perhaps start rejecting referrals if you don't actually have the capacity for what is being sent to you. I asked that she be removed from the list and now I get the uniquely American privilege to start this process all over again and jump through more endless hoops to try to get any sort quality care for my child. The system is broken beyond repair.
