As a parent of three young children, choosing the right childcare center was one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made—and I can confidently say that KinderCare Hopkins has exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for each of my children as individuals. The staff at KinderCare Hopkins truly feel like family. They go beyond just watching children—they nurture, teach, and help them grow. I’ve seen my kids thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. The curriculum is engaging, the daily structure is balanced, and the environment is always clean, safe, and welcoming. One of the biggest reasons for the positive atmosphere at the center is the leadership of Jhessica, the center director. Jhessica is a great leader who truly cares about the children, families, and staff. The changes she is making at the center are clearly noticeable—in everything from classroom organization to the overall energy and communication. Her dedication and hard work are appreciated, and it's clear she's making a lasting impact. What stood out the most to me was how invested the teachers are in every child’s development. They communicate clearly and regularly with parents, and they celebrate every milestone, big or small. My children come home excited to share what they’ve learned, and that’s how I know they’re in the right place. In fact, I was so inspired by the care and passion I witnessed daily that I decided to become a teacher at KinderCare Hopkins myself. Being part of this team has allowed me to not only support my own children but to give back to other families as well. It's a rewarding, purpose-filled role, and I’m proud to work alongside such dedicated educators. KinderCare Hopkins isn’t just a daycare—it’s a place where children are loved, supported, and encouraged to become their best selves. I’m grateful every day for the impact it’s had on our family.

Gave this place a second chance. They changed management so I thought things would be better after having a mentally challenged kid out of the complex unsupervised and went missing for a bit where an investigation occurred shortly after. For 6 months I have had to go and pick my kids up early because their staff refused to work and were short staffed. Food was terrible and I cannot express how Kayla was just under qualified and not prepared to manage this location. I am with the other people here. If I could give a zero star review I would. Look this place up in the child care services records through mn. It has a bunch of investigations. Pitiful. They should close this location. The place I have my kids now in do three field trips a week, have ipad stations and a kid to teacher ratio that is more than acceptable. All my kid has been doing is going to splash pads, movie theaters, obstacle courses etc all included. Lololol kindercare even had a sewage leak from the apartments above with God knows what kind of diseases leaked through the ceiling. They didn't even have a professional crew come by and clean it up. Hahaha close your doors. Oh and when I needed to pick my kids up I got a call with someone who could barely speak English. I had to ask like four times if I needed to pick my kids up and when I brought this to Kayla attention she abruptly called my spouse and called me racist and accused me of swearing in front of other children hahahahaha. Close your doors. Rethink your business structure. You do not deserve to call yourself a daycare.

If there was a 0 star option that would better reflect this center. The problems start with staff turn over. Probably due to staff that I witnessed making a tiktok of children. The children were allowed free reign of ipad(s) so my son was exposed to the horror movie The Grudge. Although the director apologized and guaranteed that would never happen my son is traumatized. Months later he needs to be within arms length of me at all times. The next problem is with communication. My son was attending for non school days. At times I was told to disregard messages that were sent about billing and signing in my son The app they have is never used so I had no proof my son was signed in. This caused major billing issues. Each time I was told pay or he couldnt attend. I recieve a subsidy so I would contact the case manager and it would get resomved. It's a terrible feeling to scramble and hope it works out before i would need care. The final straw was when I was again told I had a balance and pay or he couldnt attend. I paid amd asked for an explination of the charges. I was told it was my balance so pay. This was at 6pm the night before a drop off day. It spiraled from pay or he couldnt attend to due to billing issues he had been unenrolled a month prior and there was no linger soace for him. Other families had prioriety as full time. I was told in the moment he was a drop in child and never guaranteed space. I was never told this in the 5 months that he attended. Had I known that I would have never enrolled him. Childcare is very had to secure for school age children. All of these miss communications caused so much anxiety for me. I work full time and I am a single parent. This caused a strain on my job. Due to the many fails of Kindercare Hopkins I was reprimanded because my child was at home during my work hours and interrupted my work. I contacted the district manager and received empty appologies. I am left with no child care for Spring Break and other nonschool days. This facility is not safe for a child emotional wellbeing and a nightmare for communication and billing. Look else where for child care. Kindercare is horrible.
