  My mother has been here since, December 2020. The front office staff (Cindy, Sara, and Dona) all go above and beyond to help my mom feel comfortable. All of the American House employees are amazing from the housekeeping, cleaning mom's room every day and washing her clothes once a week, to the kitchen staff that already know she likes tea with her meals and Always has a cup ready for her before she sits down. Plus, if mom misses a meal, they bring her meal to her room and make sure she is OK. The activity lady (Sara) loves my mom as if my mom were her mom. She has activities several times a day Mon through Friday, with a few things on the weekends. Additional, they provide transportation to local dr appointments a couple days a week. The gentleman (Deon) is amazing, he always helps my mom, and he will go look for her, if shes not by the door at her pick up time. He always makes sure mom gets inside all her appointments safely and back to her apartment. They have Homestead on site, which I use for my mom's additonal needs. They have nurse practitioner that comes in the building once a week. They have a hairdresser on site,and is in the building once a week. The best part about this location, is they have a memory care unit. So, I don't have to worry about totally relocating mom when that time comes.

  My mother lives at this American house. Sarah and Cindy go above and beyond at this American House to make sure the people who live there are taken care of. I have had to call a Lyft to get my mother to daycare and they make sure my mother gets picked up. I have been really happy with this place. My mom even goes and spends time in the TV room visiting with other people that live there too. I highly recommend this place. Cindy and Sarah care about the residents that live here. Residents can have their own cell phones or I have a landline in my mother room. They have cable hook up if you want to pay for the services. They take care of my mom laundry and clean weekly. They even have a memory care unit. I won’t have to move my mother someplace else once she gets to that point. Check this place out if you need services for your loved ones.
