- LMLori McCallumMar 7, 20245.0My mother lives at this American house. Sarah and Cindy go above and beyond at this American House to make sure the people who live there are taken care of. I have had to call a Lyft to get my mother to daycare and they make sure my mother gets picked up. I have been really happy with this place. My mom even goes and spends time in the TV room visiting with other people that live there too. I highly recommend this place. Cindy and Sarah care about the residents that live here. Residents can have their own cell phones or I have a landline in my mother room. They have cable hook up if you want to pay for the services. They take care of my mom laundry and clean weekly. They even have a memory care unit. I won’t have to move my mother someplace else once she gets to that point. Check this place out if you need services for your loved ones.

I suspect that there is a lot of abuse and neglect occurring in this place. Please avoid and share your poor experiences. Something must be done. **In response to the response by American House - Of course, this company would deny any wrongdoing. This company wants to protect its name. But this was told to me in confidence in passing by an employee. There are multiple things wrong with this location. The website also claims to have a health care provider on site, but from what I've heard, three residents passed out, and management dragged their feet to provide them with a timely evaluation. Many group homes aren't ran ethically, and I urge people interested in finding homes for their people to use precautions and ask lots of questions.
