  Moving mom from her home to an Assisted Living Facility was something we dreaded but also something we could no longer delay if we wanted her to be safe. When we found Waltonwood Lakeside, we felt such support every step of the way. Mikaela, the Move-In Coordinator, was so generous with her time and expertise, and support. She answered all the myriad of questions I had about paperwork and move in plans with patience and kindness. Her support meant so much and she was there with us through move in day and beyond. Big grateful thanks to Mikaela! Since move in day, other care staff members have really helped mom acclimate to her new surroundings. Moriah, Life Enrichment Manager, has spent quite a bit of time getting to know mom and encouraging her to join in activities and escorting her down to those first few meals and activities when everything is new and a bit overwhelming. Gina, the Executive Director has been incredibly helpful and available to respond to any questions and requests we’ve had. Tonicka, the Residence Care Manager has connected with mom, too, and helped her join in with the rest of the community. My mom keeps saying “everyone is so nice”. Evelyn, at the concierge desk has been looking for ways to support mom, too. I don’t know all the care staff yet or their names but I am comforted knowing mom is safe in a place with such kind and caring people. Everyone at Waltonwood Lakeside has made this difficult transition so much better than I thought possible. Thank you all so much!

  Beautiful establishment, friendly staff and they have a fabulous Chef overseeing all of the food preparation. The food is delicious!!

  Recently I stopped by for a visit with Aaron. He took me on a tour of Waltonwood Lakeside. I was impressed with the community, friendliness of the team. The residents were happy and enjoying the activities. Check out Waltonwood Lakeside for you or a loved one. Ask for Aaron you won't be disappointed.

  I toured a number of facilities 6-9 months ago. I was very happy to try and get my father in here. Sadly his health made it impossible but everyone was really helpful and friendly. The nursing staff I discussed with was very understanding. Mikela and Melissa helped me guide the conversation with my father who was resistant to it for months and was on board after a tour. Sadly I got to the final phase just before move in and my dad fell ill and could not make it and everyone was very kind in the change of circumstances. My dad is not a social person but he showed some of his personality and had some good banter with the events coordinator. I highly recommend to check this place out if you’re looking for a loved one.
