- SLSable LynnAug 17, 20261.0I have waited and debated on reviewing here for a while and decided it was ultimately the best decision. My child has been enrolled in Kellers Summer Champ Camp program through Champions since the very first day and it has been nothing but a headache and financial burden on me. I am a single mother that works with the state for a little bit of support and assistance. I understand my situation may be unique to most other families however I still expect the same support and respect from my child's teachers and those above. To start, there is no support offered for those waiting for the state. Despite having all paperwork and documentation, Champions has kicked my child out of Camp and placed my account into a "collections" state. But hey I understand, the state will cover it at some point so I won't worry too much! Please keep in mind I have been trying to figure this out since JUNE!!! I have so many emails discussing with the director and lead teacher trying so hard to resolve this! After all this time, I was JUST TOLD THIS WEEK that they do not accept full DHS payments. I am genuinely baffled and confused why on earth this was not mentioned sooner? Camp is over is less than 2 weeks and not once was this mentioned to me! I'm disgusted by the greed and lack of communication by this location. We were forced to enroll at this location for the summer (Unsure why they combined RO summer camps) but had there been no change for the summer this issue never would have occurred. I am strongly convinced information was intentionally withheld from me due to personal opinions and feelings. Going forward we will definitely look into other summer programs!!
