Neighborhood House, a nonprofit human service organization founded by communities of faith in 1968, assists our neighbors during times of hardship. We collaborate with the community and other social service providers to help those neighbors in financial crisis toward self-sustainability. Neighborhood House recognizes the basic need of residents in crisis and responds with emotional/ financial assistance. We assist families and individuals in crisis move toward long-term success through rent and utility financial assistance, food, clothing, counseling, a bike program, transportation services, and educational classes (financial education, budgeting help, job coaching, resume building, parenting classes and computer literacy skills training.
