  As first time parents—we were nervous about putting our toddler in daycare for the first time ever. Everyone we have met at Grand Blanc Kinder Care has been nothing but kind, helpful and has shown patience with us and our son. Orientation was great; We got a great tour, thorough explanations of the enrollment process, were told what to expect and were met with so much hospitality. We also got to see how excellent the staff handles whatever situations may arise. We appreciate all of the updates and pictures throughout the day of our son. It’s a good pick-me-up for parents to be able to see what your baby is doing throughout the day! Everyone has put us at ease with their communication and kindness! We know this job/field is a lot of work and can be stressful/feel under-appreciated unfortunately—but we appreciate and thank each of you! To all of the staff who work with our son in Ms.Deedee’s classroom—thank you for all of you guys’ selflessness, patience, for providing great curriculum, creating a safe space for the babies and for the great and consistent communication! 10/10 recommend.

  I have been sending my child to KinderCare for about 4 years (around Covid shutdowns) and there are so many reasons why we love this location. The staff are caring and compassionate, they offer healthy well-rounded meals for my child, and have a wide curriculum that has prepared my child for Kindergarten. I feel like my child is in a safe environment and know their needs are being met with constant updates to my phone via app with everything from what they ate to activities and lots of photos. I can drop my child off and feel confident that he is being cared for, learning and having fun. The staff are receptive and create fun activities and special days for the kids to participate in from parties, at-location “field” trips, spirit weeks, splashpad in the summer and a fenced in playground. Our kiddo looks forward to every new day at KinderCare and we look forward to sending our next child there as well.

  I highly suggest Grand Blanc Kindercare!! I was so nervous sending my daughter to daycare but as soon as I toured and met the teachers I was at ease. They provide great meals, education and my daughter loves all the teachers and her friends! She has grown so much since starting and is so excited to go in the morning. I get daily updates and they are always sending me photos and videos of her during the day which eases my anxiety of being apart during the day.

  My 4 year old daughter does NOT do well with change. With the pandemic, she experienced a lot of it: her daycare (which she had been attending, with the same teachers and group of kids, for 3 years) closed down, she was home for months on end with her father and me, and we welcomed her new baby brother. When it was time for me to go back to work, her daycare hadn't opened, and we weren't able to keep juggling part time child care. Plus, my daughter was floundering without the structure of a routine. I am so, so thankful that we found the KinderCare program in Grand Blanc. My daughter struggled for the first two weeks with drop off, but thanks entirely to the wonderful teachers and Ms. Amy, ten minutes after drop off, she was laughing and playing and interacting. Everyday she came home to tell us how much fun she had, how much she liked the teachers, and how much she learned about numbers and letters. To help our kiddo every morning, Ms. Amy would come and "rock" with her (hold her and sway), and let her sit in the chair. Once in the classroom, her teacher woudl do the same. The care they took to make sure our daughter felt safe, unafraid, and happy was so far above and beyond what we expected of any childcare facility----and we truly can't thank them enough for it. In addition, the routine (outside time, nap time, inside play time, etc.) has been SO GOOD for our daughter. She comes home SO PROUD because of art work she's done, or letters she learned that day. She even does things at home and will tell us, "I have to tell Ms [insert teacher name]." I truly, truly cannot recommend this program enough. All of the staff and teachers very obviously love children, and care for the kiddos in the program. They have programming that is developmentally appropriate, and that is designed to help young children learn and grow. If you're looking for a daycare program, you should absolutley look into the KinderCare program here.

  Good Afternoon, As you already know, we are looking into a new daycare provider. The provider we will be moving to has no immediate openings. However, we are priority on their list in the event of a dropout. We have currently signed an agreement to enroll him for the 2016/2017 calendar year. I want to start this by saying we have been completely satisfied with the care provided at the Grand Blanc facility. It is the cooperate level of Rainbow that I am very dissatisfied with. In 2015, I was not willing to keep Sawyer enrolled at the daycare unless the "re-registration" fee was waived and we were credited that money back. It was. This year we were forced to pay it. In my opinion, the fee is bogus. There is no work that justifies the fee involved. Another bogus fee is was the $10 credit card decline fee because the CC's expiration date changed. That was credited back. What really gets me is in this contract during the center of the school year you have the option to "change the pricing". This is bogus! You are nearly forcing the price increase on your current customer and they feel forced or cornered to sign. I understand business very well. I understand the goal of business is to turn profits and there is nothing wrong with that if you do it in a fair and ethical manner. There is nothing ethical about charging the customer when the day care is not even open. There is nothing ethical about charging the customer 1/2 price for a service not being provided during weeks like Christmas break. I would have no issue absorbing that cost if the employees were being paid 50% for that week but I am making the assumption their not. At the end of the day, Rainbow is more about its continued growth and turning profits then it is about its customer or the children attending. At my company, the customer is put at the top of our organization chart. I want to share a word with Rainbow. Authentic. Doing the right thing to do because it is the right thing to do. Operating in the manner has grown my business beyond my imagination. You might think it is about the $10 price increase, but our decision is based solely on the principles of the matter. Our new provider charges a $35 enrollment fee. They have in writing agreed to make this a 1 time fee. They do not charge when you child is not there period. Sick,Christmas,Snow Day, etc. The weekly cost if nearly the same and possibly slightly higher as they charge hourly. This is the letter written to Rainbow. Our final decision is to leave him there until the end of school year unless our new provider has an opening. My rating would be a 5 for the staff. Thank you,
