- CFCindy FejOct 29, 20221.0If you are doing the lord's work, and advertising winter clothes, coats, and blankets for folks in need, forcing people to sit through a sermon and songs, talking about loss is unethical. My best friend was brain dead in a hospital on a ventilator, and I was just trying to get warm clothes, coats, shoes, boots, and blankets for my family. So many people walked out. I didn't even get anything for myself. I was able to get the 19 month old a few shirts and pants, one quilt, one other blanket, and 1 hat and scarf for the 19 month old, 1 for the 10-year old . Most of the things offered were shorts and short sleeved shirts... for a winter clothes giveaway. No shoes or gloves. Plus sized options were non-existent, and only went to 2x on signs.. I didn't see any clothes that would fit me. There were no large sized boots. I really needed shoes. Then for the icing on the cake, y'all brought the media in. It was so poorly organized and chaotic. This just wasn't ok.
