  My daughter attended Creative Beginnings for 2.5 years. During that time, she thrived. The staff is excellent, everyone in the building knew my daughter's name and said hello to her when they saw her. The classrooms are large, but the teacher to student ratios are small, meaning my daughter had room to play and the attention she needed to grow. They make curriculums for 1.5 year olds - my daughter had a whole week on the importance of brushing her teeth! And at 2.5 they worked with me to support my daughter's potty training - it was such a relief to know she was getting consistent support at school during that phase of development. The school itself is extremely clean and includes both an expansive outdoor playground and also a "wild rumpus room:" a large indoor play area around which all the classrooms are set. It is SO key for winters in Maine. Even on the coldest days, the kids have an area for big body movement where they can get out their energy. And did I mention food? They provide nutritious meals and snacks to the kids, so I'm never scrambling to make lunch and praying it gets eaten. Obviously the care they give my daughter is my main priority, but in addition, the consistency and communication they give working parents is unparalleled to other childcare facilities I've experienced. They share their schedule for the year well in advance so you can plan for holidays and school closures. They are always first to text on a snow day, often the night before, so you can plan ahead. Their sick child policies are clearly laid out so while you dread the inevitable sick call, the rationale is clear. They are extremely reliable. In short: this is the best childcare experience I've had since moving back to Maine. The staff is excellent and they CARE. The ratios are fabulous. The facility is child friendly and clean. The pricing is fair. I'd give it 10 stars if I could, and I'm so grateful to Nicole, Kerry, Kate and the entire team.

  So proud to say my daughter excelled here from 6wks old till 5 1/2yrs old. Staff became family to us. I would absolutely recommend Creative Beginnings to everyone!
