A friend of ours has been here for months and they are absolutely great with him. And he needs alot of attention and care. My nieces mother recently became paralyzed from the neck down and was put in braintree, Massachusetts which is an absolute horror show non English speaking, theiving, neglect & abuse. When I had started to visit my male friend once he was transferred from the hospital and see the care I told my nieces mother and her family and started advocating for her to be moved there. She's currently on the waiting list. If you go in an walknthe halls most time management is in their office with their doors open. They are very kind an dont mind a knock on the door frame and being asked questions. You can take guest out for outtings. We've thrown my male friend a birthday party and they accommodated us with all our needs to make that happen. Obviously we provided the cake and gifts but they made the space & staff avaliable to make it a great day. :-)

I just visited my Dad there, he is in the rehabilitation unit. The employees were helpful, professional and polite. The place looked very clean and smelled fresh. He said he was being treated well and knows how to call for assistance. I have worked in nursing homes and a hospital for 39 years as a CNA , so I know what to look for and that’s why I am giving all employees a 5 star review. Thank you so much for taking care of my Dad! You are all appreciated.

Brewer Rehab is a horrible place. I feel bad for people that don't have anyone advocating for them. That is really scary to think about. Brewer Rehab is responsible for the death of my mother. Because of their negligence she ended up getting sepsis and never recovered. The day I found her unconscious (was breathing she wouldn't wake up this @ 2pm )is a day I will never forget. They tried to tell me she was just really tired. She still had her 12 o clock meds still swelled up in her mouth.. she had to be that way for quite some time before I got there. Finally after a long while they got their "pcp" in there to finally say she needed to go to the hospital. The condition she was in when arriving to the hospital was absolutely inhumane . The two months she was in brewer I had to fight for her care. Having to go to other doctors constantly because her health was declining. It should of been the nurses and pcp at brewer rehab making reports to her other doctors. But they never did. Right from the beginning their were problems, it was never-ending, with late meds, running out of medicine, property missing, I had to go out and buy fans to put in her room because even though they said they would put an ac in never did. They are so short staffed they will hire anyone. Many people there with drug problems. She had one cna really wanting one of her dresses (she had 2 of the same) they both went missing two days later. Its absolutely horrifying how this place is run. If residents make any kind if complaints or stick up for other residents like one of my mom's roommates they will either come up with a way to end their stay or have med techs yell at residents for being "trouble makers" or problems makers since they arrived. This was witnessed. There are a few good people that you can see truly care about their work and the residents. Megan, Orlando,Ryan cnas Kim the night nurse.A couple others I don't know their names. Her OT,PT AND SPEECH workers were great with her as well. The pt supervisor was horrible. But the others my mom loved them. The last 3 months has been a nightmare at the hands of Brewer Rehab. Please don't let your loved ones go here unless you plan on staying there with them 24/7. Even the last time I would walk in that place to get my mother's things as planned by them, there was no one to talk to to get them. Until i had to figure it out myself. A cna I recognized knew where to go. Typical brewer rehab fashion! Of course I didn't get everything that belonged to her back. They kept the fans that were marked and a few other things that was important to her. .thank you all for ruining and taken my mother's life. Along with ruining her grandchildren, children, and all that loved her.
