  Great gym, nice place, a lot of amenities. Love the people. My only gripe is once you sign up the price is not fixed. They can go up anytime they want to. I started at $50 and now it's $79 over the course of six years

  The receptionist was cold and rude when she answered the phone, I didn't know it was a crime to ask somebody how they are doing. I was surprised and disappointed by the lack of customer service. As someone who worked in customer service for years, I am aware that the receptionist is honestly the face of the company, but this one just left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be wasting my time here.

  I've been a member at the Bender JCC for some time now, and while I appreciate many aspects of the facility, there are a few areas where improvements are needed. Firstly, I'd like to suggest extending the gym's operating hours. Currently, it closes quite early, and it would greatly benefit members if it remained open until at least 9:00 PM. This would allow for more flexibility in workout schedules and accommodate those with busy evenings. Additionally, I've noticed that equipment repairs seem to take longer than expected. Timely maintenance is crucial to ensure that members can enjoy a safe and efficient workout experience. I encourage the management to prioritize prompt equipment repairs to enhance the overall gym experience. Furthermore, there's an ongoing issue with missing nets on the basketball rims in the court area. It's been like this for months now, and it's affecting the quality of play for basketball enthusiasts. Replacing these nets should be a priority to maintain the high standards of the facility. Lastly, I believe that the overall appearance of the facilities reflects the care and attention to detail from the management. A tidy and well-maintained facility creates a positive environment for all members. I would appreciate it if the management could address these concerns, as a cleaner and more organized space would greatly enhance the overall experience for everyone. I want to emphasize that these suggestions are made with the best interests of the members and the facility in mind. I have enjoyed my time at Bender JCC and believe that with these improvements, it can become an even better place for the community to stay active and healthy.
