  If you are looking for estetically beautiful- village is that,! If you are looking specifically for memory care for your loved one … be diligent to look at care ratios to patient, nurse ratios and the most needed component of one on one time/ care for your loved one. The caregivers are beautiful people and work tirelessly but very stretched as they are overseeing many patients!! The Director lacks solid communication and thoroughness in her role.

  Such a sweet staff and really awesome facility, all around. We really enjoyed meeting everyone there and getting to see other residents enjoying activities and family time outside with a mobile barnyard event yesterday!

  The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful, especially when I left my phone on the desk while I was signing in. All personnel are pleasant.

  It has been about eight months since my wife Ellen passed away. I was waiting for the right time to write this brief letter expressing our deepest gratitude with the exceptional care she received during her stay at your facility. Assisted living care is only as good as the entire staff that is providing it. Unless someone has previous caregiving experience with a love one in an assisted living facility they are unable to measure with some type of benchmark the level of care that is being provided. Thanks to your sincere care Ellen was able to spend her last several months with dignity and respect as a professional educator. Despite having aphasia she won the hearts of the staff with just a humble smile. Thanks to the staff she never stopped smiling. I thank God everyday for all the services both of you have provided. I am sure Ellen would consider the memory unit and administrative personnel angels. I am a total pessimist and it is hard for me not to find fault with any situation. However, in my opinion it is not hard for me to advocate and to continue to advocate the high level of care that is available at Village Crossing. The staff became part of my family and the annual Christmas card found a spot on my refrigerator. Some staff attended her funeral. They helped making a very difficult sickness manageable for me with laughter and interaction during daily visits. I must admit when the building first opened I did not think it could be maintained at such a high standard for an extended period of time. However, I was wrong. The building looks great. On behalf of my sons, their families and myself we would like to offer our deepest thank you to the entire staff at Village Crossing. We are sure Ellen experienced the heart felt love and sincerity of the employees during the performance of their duties. I apologize for any staff member whose name I could not remember.
