  I'm giving zero (sadly one star is required to leave a review). At the beginning it seems like a good place to leave your child since Mr. Barry and their staff looked professional. I made the mistake of not looking at the Check Md childcare website before enrollment (If you're a parent looking for any center to leave your child PLEASE!! take a look here before committing to any place) On the website you can see the multiple complaints that this center. One of them dated 4/2/2026 (same situation as my child 6/3/2026) In the case of my child we notice bruises on her arm as if someone grab her by the arm really hard. We told the director and he state that probably was a child. The rest of the incident report in on the website Check Md childcare if you as a parent want to take a look. We have her now on a new place with cameras and the development in skills, language and other skills is completely different and noticeable. I hope other parents see this review, go take the tour and above all go the Check Md childcare website and make the best choice for your child. In retrospect the lack of cameras, the youth of the staff, the fact that they depend so much on tablets to "entertain" the child and the lack of activities to promote the development of the child is amazing.

  Our son was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, so we were initially hesitant about sending him to daycare. When he turned two, we decided to enroll him part-time at Bowie KinderCare — and we’re so glad we did. From the very beginning, the teachers were kind, caring, and attentive. They made the transition smooth for both us and our son. He did face a few challenges in the 3-year-old classroom due to frequent teacher changes, but things improved significantly afterward. His Pre-K experience was truly exceptional. A special shout-out to Mrs. Diamond, whose dedication and warmth made a lasting impact on our son’s early learning journey. She brought so much positivity into his day and helped him grow in confidence and curiosity. As we prepare to move out of state, it’s bittersweet to say goodbye. Our son will deeply miss his teachers and the friends he made here. We’re incredibly grateful for the nurturing environment Bowie KinderCare provided and the wonderful start they gave him.

  My 1.5 year old attended the Bowie Kindercare for a few months before Covid took over. The staff were nothing but AMAZING and CARING during his time there. The diversity of the staff to the other children in the center was very appreciated. Everyone was always smiling and greeting families. I definitely recommend this center and if we didn't move out if state our baby would still be attending.

  I think the staff is typical, but works hard to accommodate the children there. If you're looking for strong social development and a diverse teacher-student background, then KinderCare is a safe bet. If you're looking for something more academically rigorous, then move to Finland.
