We have had a wonderful experience at Arsenal Yard KinderCare. The teachers are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our child’s time there special. They plan engaging activities, and we have seen meaningful growth in our child’s language and social skills. We are especially grateful to Ms. Nepha, Ms. Allison, and Ms. Maria for their kindness, dedication, and hard work. Ms. Yalie has also been a wonderful addition to the center. Earlier posts accurately reflected concerns about unexpected closures, limited communication, and staffing shortages. Since she took over, however, we have seen clear improvements in staffing, communication, and overall leadership. The center now feels more organized, transparent, and dependable. We truly appreciate the progress and feel confident that our child will continue to be happy, safe, and well supported here.

Although I do not have a comparison as I am a first time mother. My son and myself have learned from the teachers. My son is happy at drop off and pick up. Hes growing mentally and physically with the help of his teachers at KinderCare. Would recommend the infant room for families looking for a positive experience.

This review is based off anecdotal experiences and shared information involving my niece that made me feel necessary to make public the concerns. The business leadership over the majority of time my niece was provided care at this facility resulted in spike of disruption for my sisters family and in at least one incident where my niece was left with substantially lower quality of care than this business advertises and commits to. It does seem that my niece very much liked the staff here, but the business does not have logistical contingencies in place to support working families or their children. While child care is a complex and difficult business I would not feel comfortable seeing my own children at this facility and am glad to see my niece moving to a new facility. I see the business has responded to many reviews and would recommend they assess contingency plans that improve stability for working families and result in continuity of care if staff disruptions occur unexpectedly during a shift.

Our child attended this center from February 2026 up to mid August this year. During that time her classroom was closed due to lack of staff coverage 6 times and 2 times for weather. The center provided refunds for staff related closures 4/6 of those times, we’re still trying to sort out the last two refunds because we had to change centers due to the frequent short notice class closures. For one these closures we were alerted at 9:45am after we had already dropped off our child for the day. When my husband arrived to pick up our child, there were no certified teachers watching the infants. The only infant teacher on site and had two unknown to us adults watching four infants. These adults self identified as not being certified teachers. Our child was incredibly clingy and disregulated after this incident. We chose to leave the facility after this. The teachers were kind and our child seemed to enjoy her time at the center. It seems like this center either over enrolls or just can’t attract enough employees. After having interacted with several other daycares in the area and reflecting on our experiences, we feel that the Kindercare leadership at our center did not hold themselves to a high enough standard and did not support their staff appropriately. This statement does not apply to the current acting director Ms.Yalie who stepped into her role after the majority of incidents we dealt with. I find it surprisingly no other parent has left a review about the classroom closures, but maybe others have more flexible work arrangements and were less impacted than our family. If you’re currently considering this facility I would proceed with great caution. Not everything can fit concisely in a google review.

We’ve had a great experience at Arsenal Yards KinderCare! We’ve been there over one year now, and both our preschool and infant children are enrolled. Their teachers and leadership are dedicated to our childrens’ learning and growing, and they have all worked collaboratively with us and our children to help them meet important milestones. Our kids are very happy there and we’ve seen them continue to learn and develop in wonderful ways.
