There aren’t enough words to say how much we love BH at Tulane. Ms. Ashley runs the greatest program and our son was deeply cared for, stimulated, and well fed, haha!
Ms. Britany & Ms. Ikim felt like family. And most importantly, my son came home so happy every day.

My daughter started here at 2. Over this time I had several issues with this facility. I will say that this was my first child and first experience with daycare therefore I did try to give them some grace. The most consistent incident was that my child had 6 teachers over the course of this time and 3 times she came home in soiled underwear. I potty trained my child at home over a week and when I sent her back I made it clear she could tell you she needed to go but she struggles still with her clothes so she needed assistance. I spoke with Sheryl everytime and was told it would be the last time however it kept happening. Over the course of two weeks my child came home 3 times supposedly having peed her pants, her teacher who looks me in the face and said “she’s just lazy so she will stand in the bathroom and pee on herself.” I went to Sheryl and spoke to her about this teachers speech and she was removed from my daughter’s class. At this age they do not know how to properly remove their clothes, or wipe themselves adequately. They need supervision.I do believe this last time caused my child to have a UTI. My second issue is my daughter broke her arm on the playground and they did not know it. She was running and fell and tried to catch herself and had a buckle fracture, they called and said she fell and she was fine. Once I picked her up and got her home I realized she refused to use the arm or put any pressure on it. So I call the teacher and was told “ yes she was babying the arm but we just thought it might still just be a little sore.” My child sat at school for almost 3 hours with a broken wrist, I knew within the first 20 minutes she wasn’t okay, how did no one notice or think anything? My final issue was that child was bit by another kid on Friday, no one knew exactly why, or how it happened they just saw the end. The following Tuesday the same exact child held my daughter and bit her around her eye, her eyelid and check bone had visible teeth imprint. I spoke with Laura and asked what was the biting policy she could not give me a clear answer. I went to speak to the director Sheryl and have my child removed from the care of this facility because now I have lost all trust in my child safety. I ask her the same question about the policy and she tells me every bite is different. NO IT IS NOT!!! She said that both parents are supposed to get notified especially since this is the second time the same child bit mines,The other mom had not been informed. most facility kick you out after the second bite. They hire these young individuals with no degrees, no child care experience, no training & expect them to take care of other people children. They charge entirely too much for there to be so many issues and never a real solution. I was told my Sheryl that I would be given a refund as I had taken my child out of the during the beginning of the month and because of the issues I was having. Now, month later I have not received a refund and cannot seem to get in touch with Sheryl. Laura continues to tell me she is out. So Laura said she will check into it and call me back. Never heard back.I know that no facility is perfect and I’m not even looking for perfection, some accountability would be great and some change/progress. There is no way I should have had the same issue over and over again. I would not recommend this facility as I cannot trust they will make the proper chances to assures child safety.
