DO NOT, under any circumstance, send your child here if you care about their wellbeing because this daycare DOES NOT! If i could give this place negative stars, i would!!!!!!! my child was KICKED in the head, and no incident report was made, i received no call. when pick up occurred, my mom noticed a giant knot on his head that was physically sticking out of his head, the size of a small apple, it was that bad and that big. my mom assumed i must have received an incident report, and on the way out the door one of the other teachers had to actually remind the other to tell my mom bend been kicked in the head. They were not going to tell this information. i immediately called the school after hearing about this & they had no knowledge of the incident. Prior to this, just last week, he came home bleeding from his head supposedly from “hitting himself with a stick.” as a boy mom, i’ve seen my son in action so i thought this was totally possible & tried not to be upset about the fact that there was no incident report. Fast forward to this next incident where he’s been kicked in the head, no knowledge, apparently “no footage” either, which was not told to me by one of the people i spoke to, so it screams they’re trying to cover it up. the director called and told me the girl was new and in training. All i’ve heard is excuses about why their care is as poor as is it. Not to mention, when i brought up the incident the week prior where he was bleeding from his head, they have NO knowledge of this either!!! they are “investigating” which is going to amount to absolutely nothing. We pay an absurd amount of childcare for these kids to be taken care of by untrained individuals, according to the director. They are supposed to update you using the app throughout the day, i get NO updates that my kid is being fed. He gets home and is absolutely starving eating everything in sight, so at this point i have no faith in their ability to even feed him like they say they are because they aren’t updating me on ANYTHING. i received an incident report about this past incident today after i had to inquire about why i didn’t have one, or a call, or even a message from anyone. The incident report is a bunch of crap, totally inaccurate because they have the incident occurring after my child had even left the building so i have no idea what has actually taken place. The care here is shotty AT BEST. They have no cameras anywhere which means you genuinely have no way of knowing that your child is not being abused. I’ve tried to give grace and be patient with them, but at the rate they’re paid, they offer no childcare even decent enough for half of what they’re making. i’m totally disappointed in the care, and honestly in AWE that they’re still open with the state. Protect your babies and get them in somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!

Warning to prospective parents, I believe your special needs child is neither safe nor wanted at Bright Horizons Plainview. I say this based on our own experiences sending a toddler suspected of having ADHD to the center. I watched a thriving daycare and preschool program devolve to chaos as the longterm director and assistant director left. The new director appears wholly incapable of retaining and training competent staff. The center has done the bare minimum to institute supports that our son required. After our son transitioned to the 3 year old room, I never once experienced compliments or praise for our son. I believe the company Bright Horizons cuts every corner they legally can, including serving the cheapest and least appealing food possible. The company constantly keeps older classes at our above 20 students. Instead of reducing their bottom line by limiting enrollment, they add additional staff and pack 24 toddlers into one room. We worked to support his teachers and give generous holiday gifts, who never once said thank you. The past two months have been fraught with targeted discrimination toward our son and family. We feel our son was ignored in hopes that he would accrue enough behavior incidents to remove him. I say this as an expert in education with 18 years experience, a PhD in Teacher Education, and multiple awards and published works, please choose another option!

Between our two children, we have been in enrolled the Plainview School for 5+ years and have 3 more to go with our youngest. Between the staff, facilities, outdoor space, programming, I can't imagine my children being anywhere else. They take the time to get to know the children and their families and have been an overwhelming support to my kids and my family throughout our time there...they themselves have become part of our family. Highly recommend and could not have parent-ed without them.
