- FVfrank viancourtAug 26, 20265.0Top tier Y. I love the 4 x power racks for heavy barbell lifting as well as the functional fitness area with a wide range of kettlebells. Sauna, pool, and hot tub for great recovery and nearby park for a walk or run. Oh and the outdoor pool is a nice summer touch.

Do you offer after-school care?
Yes! The YMCA of Central Kentucky’s Before and After School program provides youth with a safe place to go before or after the bell. More importantly, it helps youth realize who they are and what they can achieve. The balanced program supports academic achievement, fosters health and wellness, and instills positive social-emotional skills. Care is provided onsite at schools or children are transported to the Y. Program runs from the end of the school day until 6 p.m. unless noted.

Yes! YMCA swimming lessons are a progressive program teaching swimming skills, stroke technique, and water safety skills such as floating, treading water, and safety entering and exiting a pool. Our swimming programs are led by trained instructors who are certified in CPR and First Aid in addition to their formal swim instructor training.
