Yes, we serve veterans across Kentucky. Bluegrass Home Care Services is a contracted in-home care provider with the VA, which allows us to deliver services at no cost to veterans who have Homemaker Personal Care Benefits.

After you contact us to pursue care, we'll schedule a complimentary, in-home assessment. During this visit, we evaluate the environment and client needs, address your questions, and create a customized care plan. We then match your loved one with a compatible caregiver. Services begin according to the agreed-upon schedule, with ongoing evaluation and adjustments available as circumstances change.

We strive to ensure our clients receive consistent care from a caregiver who's well-suited to their needs, preferences, and personality. If the match isn't working as expected, we'll arrange for a different caregiver to better meet your requirements.

Tammy Scott founded and owns Bluegrass Home Care Services. She's an Eastern Kentucky University graduate with over 20 years of experience as a licensed occupational therapist and holds a degree in psychology. Her career has included providing care and therapy to patients in home health care, outpatient rehab, acute and sub-acute settings, as well as long-term care facilities. In 2018, Tammy established her own home care business to support individuals who want to remain in their homes or chosen environment for as long as possible while maintaining the highest quality of life. Tammy and her team collaborate closely with clients and their families to provide customized, quality care.
