Had to wait a few days to enroll my child, which caused me to miss work. When I brought my child for his first day, he was only there for roughly an hour. I stayed to see how he interacted with everyone since he was new. The break teacher was in the 3-year old classroom and was amazing. She was very welcoming, positive, and uplifting.
The actual teacher (Karen has been a teacher at that daycare for 14 years from my understanding) comes back from lunch while I'm having a conversation with the director (Sara) outside the classroom door. I didn't really think anything of it at the time but she wasn't very welcoming. She rejoined her classroom around the time they were eating lunch. I stayed to talk to Sara a little while longer and then I headed out. I did one last look into the classroom from the door outside of the building. I noticed my child in a full blown screaming cry and he said mommy when he saw me. He has NEVER done that at all. I did observe him saying mommy when I was peeking in from outside the door when speaking with Sara, but he was still calm and wasn't crying. I go back inside to the classroom and the FIRST THING Karen said was are you picking him up. Her attitude was very disgusting!
A family member of mine wanted to have a conversation near the door about what happened while I was comforting my child. Karen wanted to have the conversation from across the room while most of the kids were going down for a nap. She was very defensive and rude. She walked away in the middle of me expressing my concerns after she asked me a question. I shared my concerns about the entire interaction with Sara immediately after and in an email when she followed up. Sara seemed to make excuses and they didn't take any accountability. As I expressed to Sara, Karen probably is a good teacher, but her attitude was very unprofessional and her "apology" was not genuine.

My 2 kids really enjoy the teachers and all the fun stuff they get to do every day. My 3 year old has learned so much from them and loves to come home and tell me about all the things they did throughout the day

We absolutely love KinderCare Fort Wright! The staff is always so welcoming and happy to see everyone when you walk in. They have so many fun activities planned for the kids and the directors Ms. Sarah and Ms. Jenny are so great with communication. The location is great and the classrooms are so clean and fun! Our daughter adores her teacher, Ms. Rae, and has the biggest smile on her face when she’s dropped off. Thank you to everyone at KinderCare for all the work you do, our family has so appreciated it!

Never experienced a daycare as bad as this one. The staff are always yelling at the kids and there is no safety in classrooms so many incidents happened my kid especially in the toddler 2 classrooms my kid got injured from this daycare and his forehead got broken from other kid in the classroom the teacher doesn’t taking care of my kid and we asked about the incident the director and district leader were not helpful at all.
Worst management they need money not kids safety in classrooms so many safety loop holes in this daycare.
