  We love Children’s Lighthouse of Gardner! The administration and teachers are incredibly welcoming and attentive. Everyone knows my child’s name and it is wonderful knowing that they are in a fostering environment!

  I have two kids currently enrolled. Teachers I will give 4 Stars to. They seem to care about the kids although they are a bit slow on updating their app about what the kids are doing and eating. Since the new owners have taken over about 6 or so months ago, my rate has increased about 20% with no noticeable improvements to anything at the actual daycare. I have seen a couple new posters and there have been some rule changes for the kids, but that’s it. My kids are still doing the exact same things they were doing there before the new owners. Only excuse I have heard is that they want more resources for the daycare so they need to charge more. If they actually cared about the resources available to the kids, they would understand that they are taking resources away from those same kids at their own home.

  Our daughter has loved it here and it has really helped her grow and prepare for kindergarten. Would recommend lighthouse for sure!

  The facility is beautiful and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, the staff turn around is crazy. The staff that they do have clearly does not want to be there. My son literally had a new teacher every week. I witnessed several times where staff was very harsh to children, screaming at kids at the top of their lungs. I had to complain to management several times and nothing was done. I walked in unexpectedly one day and found all of the children in front of a television watching YouTube make up tutorials. How this is beneficial for a three-year-old classroom to watch I don’t know but I definitely do not pay that much money for my child to watch YouTube videos all day. When this was mentioned to management they stated this was probably an ad but I made sure to stay in the hallway where they couldn’t see me for at least five minutes and no it was not an ad. The last straw was when they lost my child. My husband showed up to pick my son up and they were frantically looking as soon as they saw my husband. They looked for him under tables, in the bathroom and could not locate him, the teachers started whispering to each other with a terrified face and finally admitted to my husband that they must have left him outside on accident. Again when mentioned to management they tried to deny it and say that they purposely left them outside since they saw Dad pull in. This makes no sense, why would they leave him outside when they know dad has arrived and his classroom is literally right by the front door? Not only that but how in three minutes time did they forget this plan and frantically look around for him? It just made no sense and management does any and everything to cover things up. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
