I’ve never had a bad experience, when my family was in need and not able to attend church for a while, they were right there to help us. I was baptized into the church as well when I was 8y/o. In high school i would go about 1-2 Sunday's a month due to it not feeling as welcoming as it used to be. I’m now 21y/o, my fiancé and I have owned our own home for over a year now and have not needed any help. I’m working every Sunday, at my job, that’s when I get majority of my hours and I can’t take off. We have recently hit a rough spot and couldn’t afford much, so I had asked my mom to see if she could see about getting a voucher as a last resort. Just so we could have some food at home. And because I am not able to make it on a Sunday, I am not able to receive any help. I have never asked for help before. Especially not from a church. But I thought, since they had helped my aunt and my family in the past, maybe I would also receive some guidance at least. But I was turned away because I’m unable to be there every Sunday due to my job.
