  We used the services of this business 5/30. We knew the time was coming, but we had a medical issue that led us to schedule in home euthanasia more urgently for the following day. Our experience was similar to a few others around that time- the vet came 25 min before our scheduled time (which, when you are counting down your last moments with your pet this was tough to handle). Our dog was comfortable, but the process/communication with us during the process was not great. Then my husband (and my daughter who was trailing behind) carried our deceased dog to be put into the trunk of a Subaru lined with plastic bags and to our shock, the vet’s two dogs. This was very traumatic for my daughter. The owners of the company were extremely responsive and concerned and offered to remedy the situation, so I felt confident the issues would be addressed but now in seeing a few similar reviews and their responses about not having record of those appointments, I thought it best to add our experience to this page. I would consider using this company again if I could be reassured that changes had been made to the vet and/or process.

  Whispering Willow was there for us when our vet wasn’t and they showed us more compassion than our vet ever did. Dr. Auen moved his schedule around to accommodate us. He came to our house and was very kind, gentle and compassionate with our 15 year old kitty, Mouse. We got her ashes back today and the pick up experience was wonderful. Thank you Dr. Auen and everyone at Whispering Willow for helping us through this time and taking care of our baby. I would absolutely recommend them a thousand times over to anyone facing the loss of a fur baby. 🤍

  A man came to my mom's house and it took over an hour for her cat to be put to sleep. Her cat was very distressed and this was not the peaceful experience my mother paid a significant amount of money for. Then when the cat had passed this man had my mother put her cat in the back seat with his two dogs jumping all over her cats dead body because he didn't have a box or a carrier or even a blanket to wrap his body in. She is not a confrontational person and was scared of calling out of fear that she wouldn't get her cats ashes back or I would've called immediately. They say on their website that they aren't responsible for the actions of the person coming to the home to perform the euthanasia but when it's their name behind it they should care about the quality of service. My mother should be reimbursed for this horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

  Nick and Kate showed nothing but kindness and compassion in our time of need. In such a difficult situation, they made the process as easy as possible. The vet was incredibly professional. He explained the whole process, but also broke it down step by step what he was doing while he was doing it. He was a very calm presence at an emotional time. I would absolutely use their services again as well as recommend them to anyone.

  THIS COMPANY SENT AN UNREGISTERED OR LABELED VEHICLE TO COME PUT A DOG DOWN! BLOOD WAS EVERYWHERE! HE SHOT THE DOG IN THE HEART! THAT DIDNT WORK AND HAD TO DO IT AGAIN! THIS MAN PULLED UP IN CARHART OVERALLS AND AFTER THE DOG WAS CARRIED BACK TO HIS CAR HE HAD HIS TWO LITTLE DOGS RUNNING LOOSE ALL OVER THE POOR DECEASED DOG! DO NOT USE!
