  5 stars all around. Don’t hesitate sending your child here! We tried to find reasons to go elsewhere and couldn’t. After 4 months of daycare here, our family’s quality of life has increased tremendously thanks to the community at A Child’s Place McHenry. Great communication at all times from all staff. The teachers are so attentive, creative, flexible and loving, they feel like family. So many fun programs during and after school. Air purifiers (everywhere!), thorough cleaning procedures, natural lighting in all classrooms, awesome outdoor space, plus they update us with photos, meals, etc throughout the day. They encourage parents in the classroom, I spend as much time dropping off/picking up as I want! Everyone understands and remembers our unique family situation. We are so grateful!

  This center is great! Both our Daughters attend (9mo & 3.5y). We have been here for almost 2 years and love the staff. They send updates daily and weekly of what the kids are doing and what we can work on at home with them. They do a lot of family events and always keep the family involved as much as they can!

  My son started going to A Child's Place when we moved to the area when he was 4 and continues to go to their summer camp and before and after school care (he is now 6). He is well cared for and loved by the teachers. When our daughter was born it was an easy decision to register her when I needed to go back to work and she is a well cared for happy little girl. We receive constant communication throughout the day and their facilities seem very secure as well.

  I want any parent to take the time out of their day and PLEASE read my post. I am warning any parent who's child has any form of disability to please not go here .My oldest has Adhd and my youngest autism. The staff have no training at ALL for children with disabilities.They then make it a behavior issue. I literally came in with tears in my eyes after working 9 hours and my youngest (4) was saying he was put in a head lock and pushed. We are talking about a 4 year old child here. A childs place isnt anything more then a facility with a bunch of un educated, un trained " teachers". I have had several moments alone with certain staff, saying how their over worked. They don't have the proper training. When my children's behavior changed at home I knew I had to get them out of their. His emotions and his physical behavior was off. You don't think this could happen to you. But it's very scary and the person who suffered the most is my child. They are not even crisis prevention trained!!!! God forbid a crisis happens????? Please don't think it's You. Or your parenting. My children have never behaved this way. Pay attention to your children.
