  My daughter has attended Mary Sears since she was 2 years old. In her first three months, she struggled with transitioning to daycare. However, she received a lot of teacher and staff support to helped her adjust. Now, my daughter enjoys going to daycare, which she calls ‘school’ every day, even when I’m home to care for her. She loves the teachers and enjoys interacting with her peers. Moreover, she is being exposed to pre-kindergarten skills, and I am seeing great strengths in her pre-academic skills. I highly recommend Mary Sears Joliet. Monica C.

  Mary Sears is an awesome daycare. Both of my kids attended Mary Sears from the time they were about 8 months old, and the staff has always been incredibly kind and attentive. This daycare does a really great job balancing play with education; kids have plenty of time to play and be creative and silly, while also learning important skills and concepts to be ready for kindergarten. My girls have made good friends and have developed caring relationships with their teachers; they have absolutely loved their time at Mary Sears, and we couldn't be happier with our choice of daycare.

  My twin daughters have been going to this pre-school/daycare for over 2 years now and I absolutely love it and so do the girls. All the teachers are hands deck and they all seem to work as a team. One of the teachers actually fixes my daughters hair really cute ( I'm not that talented in the hair department) If there's ever an issue with the girls the teacher will call right away. We love Mary Sears.

  I couldn’t be happier with my experience at this daycare. From the very beginning, the staff has been incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. It’s clear that they truly love what they do, and that makes all the difference. The environment is clean, safe, and thoughtfully set up for kids to learn and play. If you’re looking for a daycare where your child will be cared for, supported, and encouraged to thrive, this is truly a wonderful choice. I highly recommend it!

  IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD! MY DAUGHTER WAS DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM WHILE ATTENDING THIS ESTABLISHMENT. SHE WAS 1 AT THE TIME AND IS IS NONVERBAL STILL TO THIS DAY. SHE ATTENDED MARY SEARS FROM JANUARY 2024 TO JANUARY 2026. THAT ENTIRE TIME MY CHILD WAS CONSTANTLY SENT HOME FOR ANY AMD EVERY LITTLE THING. THAT WAS THE FIRST RED FLAG. THE SECOND WAS WHEN MY DAUGGHTER STARTED RECEIVING HER THERAPIES AT THE DAYCARE. MRS. SHELLY WAS UNCOOPERATIVE ALL OF THE TIME. LEGALLY, THE THERAPIST IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ALONE IN A ROOM WITH THE CHILD. THE THERAPIES ARE SUPPOSED TO TAKE PLACE IN A CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT. HOWEVER, THE THERAPIST WAS REPEATEDLY MADE TO SEPERATE MY DAUGHTER ON HER OWN DURING SESSIONS. I WAS TOLD BY MY CHILDS THERAPIST THAT THE TEACHERS WERE MISTREATING MY CHILD. REPEATEDLY, IN FRONT OF HER. THEY WERE VERY AGGRESSIVE AND FORCEFUL WITH MY CHILD. FAST FORWARD TO NOW AND WHY I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW. MY CHILD IS NOW ENROLLED IN ANOTHER SCHOOL AND IS SHOWING SIGNS OF TRAUMA. I LOVE THE SCHOOL SHE IS AT NOW. HOWEVER, MY CHILDS TEACHER EXPRESSED A CONCERN THAT WHILE PATTING MY DAUGHTER TO GO TO SLEEP, MY BABY CONSTANTLY FLINCHES AND SAYS IM SORRY IM SORRY IM SORRY. MY HEART BROKE IN HALF, COMPLETELY SHATTERED. DO NOT TRUST THIS DAYCARE WITH YOUR CHILDREN. AND PLEASE DONT SEND THEM IF THEY HAVE ANY SPECIAL NEEDS. Had I known before hand I wouldnt have sent her.
