We were so nervous starting daycare as first time parents and I never thought I’d find myself saying that it truly was an amazing experience seeing what a great fit this center was for our family. That is largely because of the amazing work that Ms. Rhonda and Ms. Rooha put in to make our child feel secure and loved in the classroom and the kindness and patience they had with us. I cannot say enough good things about them, they are absolute angels.
Our child quickly bonded with them and felt happy being dropped off each day. They were attentive to our needs and concerns, communicative about our child’s care, and were also super helpful in working through tricky phases like bottle refusal or getting on a better nap routine at home.
The other teachers at the center were also great, always greeting our son by name even if not usually in his class. In other interactions I saw with them in the hall you can easily tell this center really is a community.
Lastly, the center director is top tier. She is on top of it, knows everybody by name, is supportive of parents, children, and staff.
We were devastated when we had to move for work and had to leave this center, it’s truly something special. I would hands down recommend.

This review is specifically for Ms Suada and Ms Katie in preschool 5. They have been great partners and advocates for our daughter’s education and overall well being. I’ve seen all the ways my daughter has grown in the classroom both developmentally and in terms of being a good classmate to others. Her teachers care, and beyond just teaching I see the ways they make the kids feel special.

My daughter went to Bright Horizons in Evanston and my son is currently enrolled there as well. My daughter has a severe nut allergy and we have other dietary restrictions as well. This was not a problem at all for the staff.
The teachers are kind, caring, and form genuine bonds with the kids and families. We have had some pretty incredible teachers here and I can feel the love they have for the kids when I see them.
The center hours are great and they are also very responsive. They also are very good at keeping you updated on all things in a timely manner. The app lets me see what my son is up to at school and gives me peace of mind when I am away at work while he is at school. It also gives us things to talk about when we look at the pictures together.
Overall, we are glad we chose Bright Horizons and would recommend to other families.

I bring my kid in the morning clean well fed with clean diaper.
I pick up dirty kid dehydrated with rush on his butt because was left with poop in the diaper for too long, disoriented waiting for his parents to come and pick him up.
I am a parent with older kid as well so believe me I know daycares.

ALERT: children with allergies are NOT SAFE at this school. Period. This school was absolutely horrible for our family, the most terrifying experience we’ve ever had. Our 2 year old son went here for the shortest period of time, he was so excited to go to school and get the chance to socialize and was heartbroken to have to stop, but his safety was at risk daily and we had to make the decision to pull him from the school. This school claims to employ strict food allergy procedures to avoid any incidences like ours, however our son suffered anaphylactic reactions at this school that landed him in the ER twice. He was supposedly given his “red placemat with his photo and his allergies listed on it”, but then was given food he was explicitly allergic to (the first time was scrambled eggs, the second was milk). The first time it happened, they called us to say he wasn’t acting like himself after breakfast and had ABSOLUTELY NO recognition that it could have been an allergic reaction. I had to ask what he ate and remind them he was allergic to eggs before they acted. We had to come in and give him his epi pen, then take him to the ER because his lips were blue and he was covered in a full body rash when we got there. They had no idea. We took some time off from the school, the regional director reached out to us insisting that we meet with her to discuss the situation, and we were reassured that it would NEVER happen again. Against our better judgement, we decided to bring him back because he loved playing with his classmates and we didn’t want to take that from him. Only about a month after returning to the school, they did it again. They gave him milk in his cereal, he threw up and immediately developed a rash. The school administrator called me and said “well, we have a little emergency (laughs) well…I wouldn’t really call it an emergency haha!”. I asked if he threw up and she said yes, so I told her it was an emergency and he was once again experiencing anaphylaxis at the hands of this school. They gave us no details of how it happened. Wouldn’t tell us how it could have happened with their “strict procedures” in place or even how much he had consumed because it was “an ongoing investigation”. I told them we would absolutely not be coming back, they had harmed my child for the last time. No one ever reached out to us to apologize or follow up. They never paid our ER bills, and when they “prorated” our tuition we actually ended up owing them more and they just said “that’s how the system works”. Your allergy children are not safe at this school, do not waste your time and money putting your child at risk here.
